In the middle of a nearly nine-minute metal song, as soon as a girl finished a verse, she lightly touched her earphones, as if checking for a phone signal, then immediately bent down and continued playing her guitar rapidly, perfectly in tune.

Wow, that small gesture made a university-level vocal coach in America point the screen to his wife. The clip is of Nene Rattikan Amlai playing Metallica's "Master of Puppets" with a band of young friends in Thailand.

She was only 15 when it was filmed, and the audience included Danny Breivik, known to his friends as "Big Brave." Initially, he didn't even intend to review this song, but the video he wanted to post was interrupted, so he chose this one instead. And lo and behold,

the video racked up 68,000 views, and at the end, he placed her name alongside Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury. What did a vocal coach who's listened to people his whole life see in a 15-year-old performing at an event like that? How dare she speak such grand words?
