A lot of us have lost a parent and partner, as myself. I appreciate those topics to be discussed. It gives hope and comfort that we are not alone.

4 years this Christmas without my Mum. It is only now the grief is lifting. Im doing what she would have liked..listening to lots of Christmassy music, looking out for a stray cat, cook some lovely things for Christmas and be with her in spirit..just do what you need to do, the unconditional love that your mum gave you continues and she will love ANYTHING you do..x

Hi Jo….I had my mom for 91 years…I lost her when I was 69…..i am now 72 and she will be gone three years In January and I don’t care for the holidays much because I am forced to be cheerful and I am not. I miss her so. Jo, I enjoy watching you so much…as for Dave, I love his hair short and his personality is quite enjoyable! Jo….you are living your life to the fullest and I wish that I were able to do the same. I look forward to you every week…..Thank you pretty lady, you are a gift to the world! ❤😊❤

This will be my first Christmas without my mum. I miss her but more for the way she was before her last days. She is in a better place now.
How blessed we have been to have had our mothers for such a long period of time.
My mum didn't make it to 98.

I know what you mean Jo…I lost my husband, my Stan nearly three years ago. ….i needed to stay at our home for the first two Christmases….this year I am going to my sister, she and her hubby live on a wide-beam boat…..it will be strange and lovely in equal measure. x

The year my mom passed away I did something very different . I went camping! Nature was perfect for me. Camping is something I have loved since!

The clothing at Dashing Tweed looks to be super high quality, each piece is like an investment. Dave looks well rested and full of energy!

Hi Jo,
As you said in this vlog, you do not know what you are going to do for Christmas (day). This Christmas (day)I, too, am not sure what I will do. My one ( and only) son lives 4 hours from me and he will be working. I am an older lady and I have decided that I will just have a very quiet Christmas Day. My mom died a long time ago (35 years ago) and quite frankly my biological father killed himself many decades ago. I have one living brother ( we are not close) and my favorite brother died 12 years ago. Christmas is just one day. I love watching and listening to your vlogs!! Elizabeth

Ps just to say I LOVE Dave ! As another lady said please, can you take Dave to a lovely shop and do your Fashion shoot w Dave so your Male viewers can get some ideas … plus give Dave a TREAT ! ❤
Also, Jo, can you run through what Vit/ supplements you take
What do you eat in a day and how many times a week do you exercise ?
You are an inspiration to so many of us … can you give us the low down ?! ❤😊

The trick to tubing mascara, is to apply several coats before it dries otherwise it clumps and flakes off. You need to build it up while it’s wet. Then it’s great. Aussie utuber Lauren Curtis has her own brand of it and talks about how to use it. (She’s also a lovely Aussie girl, with 3 mil subscribers! ). Hope this helps, love from Australia 🇦🇺

On Christmas Day when my Mum was around we would sometimes fill a flask of coffee, make smoked salmon sandwiches, then drive down to Worthing to take in the sea air 🙂
She’s been gone quite a few years now but a couple of years ago I thought I’d do it again on my own. So drove down to Brighton, parked at the seafront & to my surprise found that the Fish & Chip shop was open, so indulged in F&C, then drove home at dusk
Just a thought Jo….

Two years ago, I spent the loneliest Christmas alone by myself. I promised myself that my Christmases will never be that lonely again. I've got used to being alone now and it's it gets a bit easier each time 😌

Me too re Christmas this year. But for me, I've had a few years to adjust. I don't want to join friends with families. I might spend it at home. I have so many happy memories that its really ok.

Hi Jo, I'd love to see you take "Dave the Cabbie" into the tweed shop and do a bit of a "country gent" makeover on him 😂 - I imagine the banter between him and the guy from the shop would be hilarious! 😂😂😂 Congrats on the 70k - you made it before turing 70! Yay!
