New Kosmic video . . . That means Niftski has another record just around the corner to make this one irrelevant.

46:46 "Is drinking water the secret to their power?" No, we all know SMB1 runners drink coke and eat pizza and that's the secret to passing Super Mario Bros in under 5 minutes.

I love the fact that speedrun explanation durations tend to inversely correlate with the length of the speedrun

@THIAGO_247 10 months ago

I'm so used to hearing about the Any% category of SMB1 speedrunning all the time, that I often forget that other categories exist too lmao

Saving 5 seconds in a game that's close to being an autoscroller at this point is crazy

@PsychoCerax 10 months ago

How dare you explain framerules without any reference to public transportation? Game's gone

"Bowser is throwing hammers now and it's a problem"
"because it's really hard to get through him?"
"no, lag"

3:02 Kosmic balls so hard he goes into cardiac arrest for a moment

@rolder50 10 months ago

46:50 you can tell he's freaking out with that heart rate tracker showing 175+ lmao

I was like "oh of course it's not an any% video. The last one was too good and too recent" and then niftski did it again and that's not even the video lmao

10:11 "...so you see, boss, by telling me to clean up my code you're disrespecting decades of tradition and denying the beauty of such marvels as FPG, and...."

One of these days Warpless will be the category everyone gets excited about more often than Any%
I don't know what it will take to move players over, maybe we'll have to wait until the TAS is tied, but one of these days that'll be the main event. Until then, thank you for being my main source of warpless content and for this video in particular showing how you can get an even nuttier run in that category!
No hate to Any% it's an amazing and classic category but Warpless deserves more love is all!
