Unfortunately the conclusion segment of this video ended up getting copyright struck. I've attached a transcript aswell as a re-upload of the ending segment completely free of charge to my Patreon.

"So I didn’t expect this script to get this long. It began as a script about how stone ocean isn't Jolyne's story and then turned into all of this. Even though it took a million years to write, I’m glad I wrote it. Jojo is one of my favorite shows, and writing about it is fun for me.

I’ve been really peeved at the Jojo fandom for its poor treatment of this part back when it was still just a manga, and im really happy that it ended up being one of the best parts when you stand back and look at it. because while it does have its flaws, its by no means worth skipping. Honestly I think a lot of people just got pissy that the main character was a girl, and decided to view the Jojo part with the most Jojo energy in a negative light because of that. This is like trying to taste the baking soda in a cookie because the wrapping paper is pink, you’ll have a lot more fun if you stop being like that."

Ohhhh that essay was so good. Its so nice to hear someone truly express the genuine love of humanity that is the intended core of jojo's bizarre adventure, and to see others agree that the true victory of part 6 is a world where the heroes never had to suffer.

Jolyne doesn't want to be someone important until the universe thrust importance onto her. she literally changed her last name to distance herself from her absent father and lived a relatively normal life until she was basically forced into gaining a stand and fighting the disciple of her great great great grandfather's enemy. But in that journey, she finds herself closer to humanity than she ever did in her youth. She died fighting for and along side everything that was important to her. Even in a universe that doesn't concern Pucci, she still finds those companions.

Jolyne doesn't want to be part of her family's hijinx/destiny so much that she is the only JoJo associated with another symbol besides the star, that being the butterfly, and even then, the biggest design detail in her clothes is a butterfly entangled in a web.

"If she was never a jojo, and as such never had to go on a bizarre adventure" Idk why, but that gave me chills. Absolute cinema.

Remember that Vampirism and Hamon are two sides of the same coin. Golden Experience is the full culmination of that concept. Hamon is life energy and gold experience transmutes items with life energy. Jonathan touching a tree with his Hamon caused it to bloom. Likewise, his Hamon caused Buford to regain his soul. The dark mirror is obvious with Dio using his vampirism to create undead zombies. Likewise, Kars, the inventor of vampirism, was able to transmute his body into different creatures. Giorno can’t do it on Kars level but he’s able to do it small scale.

Jolyne is the most flexible jojo honestly a lot of her antics remind me of johnathan she's like the ultimate culmination of all her family members into one

he said that last name like it was a slur

I tihnk its very fun and significant that the only jojo who actively searches the main conflict of his part is Giorno, you know the son of Dio, who's existence and  it's consequences are chasing every other Jojo. Dios's genes make you search for conflict I guess

Straight up fantastic analysis. I really never considered that almost everyone and everything in stone ocean SO BADLY wants nothing to do with Jolyne, but she still takes it upon herself to challenge evil, because that’s who she learns she is. She honestly might be top 3 jojos

This vid felt like kind of a love letter to jojo’s. I think that jojo’s, in its portrayal of humanity, inspires such a deep rooted love for living and for individuality, and part 6 is my favorite example of it all. Great essay 😁

the bond Jolyne has with emporio is everything to me, like the only reason Hermes got out with her is cuz cuz they ran into her. Emporio is the one true Jobro of this part

Giorno was given his life giving ability because when coming up with part 5, Araki was interested in writing a female protagonist and his name "Haruno Shiobana" (usually feminine) and his ability to "Give life" mirrors that of a womans own ability to give life. Araki even jokingly threw around the idea of revealing Giorno to be a woman that the gang all mistook as a teenage boy (although this was never a serious consideration by araki). So, in a roundabout way, kind of deeply connected to the concept of Stone Ocean from a meta standpoint haha

jolyne making a string-net on top of water and running on it was one of the few times that i stared at a couple pages for like hours, the sheer creativity in choreography and tension and characterization and powers and being able to execute on those ideas consistently in like every fight is just something that i don't see that often, if at all. one of the many many things i like about each part of jojos is that they all build on top of what came before and either continue the narrative/thematic threads laid down by parts that came before, or subvert our expectations in fun ways. i think ppl see mostly the memes and poses and think jojo is just there for a good time and nothing else, which is always so frustrating to see, but lately it feels like ppl take jojo way more serious and this video is by far one of the best analysis(how to plural?) i've seen on jojo. anyways enough scattershotted rambling. i hope u enjoyed making it as much as i loved watching it and wishing u a good day :>

I am so glad that people like you, who know how to read, still exist. Amazing essay, and while I don't agree with some points here and there (very minor things). I feel like you understood the message very well, and this whole essay is beautiful.

JoJo is absolutely one of, if not outright, my favorite piece of fiction ever. I give myself a lot of flack for consuming too much media, so when I say I watch a lot of JoJo related content, I mean it.
This is 1000% the best video about JoJo I have ever seen. Amazing job and I hope this blows up.

thank you for putting the beauty of stone ocean into a video. stone ocean has always been my favourite part. this was so well written and presented. jojo (and stone ocean) is so much more than just its main character, and that's the beauty of the series.

19:06 historians will call them best friends😭😭

Thank you for reminding me about so much of what I love about part 6 and Jolyne. It will forever be my favorite part, she will forever be my favorite jojo, and you've put into words a lot of why that is. I also especially liked your analysis of Foo Fighters, they're such an emotionally resonant character for me and people understanding them always brings me joy.

Apathy is the gateway to cruelty goes hard. I watched the show and was frustrated with a lot of things that felt wrong or disparate, but this vid helped shine rhem in a different light and gives a fantastic perspective on how to interperet how the themes present throughout jojo influence this one. This is like a post-modernist kaleidescope lmfao
