WE'RE TIRED OF THIS WORLD

Surprisingly, even before our meeting with the wise and profound guest of my podcast "About Beauty," a thinker and interpreter of ancient Vedic texts—Alexander Khakimov—I came across information related to the scientific search for a way out of the global crisis. How surprised I was when what Khakimov spoke about coincided with scientific research on this issue.

Everything happening on Earth today—wars, the arms race, economic fraud, various forms of violence—was first explained by sociologists and historians at Trinity University (USA). It's the main male hormone! It turns out that testosterone is directly linked to dominant behavior and conflict seeking.

Meanwhile, other studies were being conducted in South Korea that yielded unexpected results that echoed the aforementioned study. They were studying telomeres—the protective caps of DNA whose shortening triggers the aging process and the development of many diseases. Shortening also causes chronic stress. And because women statistically live longer than men, a pattern was discovered called the "tend-and-befriend" strategy for women—where problems are resolved through socialization rather than aggression. The scientists concluded that if people follow this strategy, not only will we preserve DNA integrity longer due to lower cortisol levels, but we will also enjoy a world with fewer heart attacks and ill-considered wars.
