As a person who was there in person cheering for you really hard at the competition, I cheered SO HECKING HARD when you caught that GOD DAMN FORK!
I did also sing along to the song in the audience and it was amazing to see you perform (since I was only at the con for Friday night and Saturday I missed the chance at meeting you and saying hi.) and it was so cool to see your reaction to NärCon!
And even if you lost I hope the rainy Swedish summer treated you nicely anyway!

This is the second time you’ve made me cry with this cosplay, thank you for being you.

I wanna mention, as an audience member, during the voting time for the audience choice THE VOTING DIDNT WORK, we found out like halfway through the voting that we needed to update the app so I think a lot of votes were sadly lost :( Im blaming närcon /hj

I love that everyone took the time to celebrate your birthday. That was very sweet! And Happy Belated Birthday 🎂!

@zzzzzzzzzzzzzz21 3 years ago

Not only are you the first team USA but you also have inspired and influenced so many people to do what they love and want to do. I can speak on behalf of this because i am one of the many that have been inspired by you and your amazing work. You have paved the way for many future cosplayers to be able to do what they love and have fun doing it. When i tell you that you are one of the most amazing people i have ever seen and heard i mean it. Sarah, you truly are an amazing person and i feel that you deserve the world. Love, Rat🐀❤️

As a Swedish person who is very familiar with Närcon, it's very cool to see how people outside of Sweden react to the convention. Närcon Sommar was my second-ever convention and has always been special to me. I wish I could have watched the NCC and seen you in person but I was working at the Karaoke and rarely left C-huset. You inspire me a lot, and I'm glad you had a good time even though you didn't win. Happy late birthday. Never stop being amazing. 🧡

As an European viewer - This cosplay absolutely deserves to win!!!

I met you there!! You were absolutley amazing. I was the crying Kokomi that took a picture with you😭 I was really overwhelmed and starstruck so im really sorry about that lol but i was trying to say that you are such an inspiration for me to improve my cosplays and to hopefully be brave enough to start sewing my own clothes and cosplays.

I loved your performance! You were fantastic🫶

I just need you to know, that I saw about 4 strawberry Miku’s at a local convention recently. And 100% they were inspired by you and your work. You’re incredible!

the fact that you were the ambassador for all future american cosplayers in this competition is so impressive and special too~

@Richardvonwild 3 years ago

In the audience, everyone around me was trying to vote for you, but the app wasnt working. I only managed to get it working with about 2 minutes to spare, but I know there were a few whos didn't work at all.

I would have loved to have met you in person, but I'm going to take it as a sign that we are going to meet in the future.

Even though you were not eligible for a prize that year at NCC, you represented your country and helped us become a member nation later. Thank you for what you did for your American cosplayers.

just an hour ago I got an e-mail that I got accepted into my first cosplay competition, and now you're posting video about competing? what a timeeee ❤

I was in the front of the audience and I voted for you! Me and my boyfriend were blown away by your performance and we were absolutely convinced that you'd win the audience award. You made us both teary eyed ❤

As someone who also rarely gets birthday parties because of people going on vacations (my bday is December 26th) I pretty much cried when they surprised you with the birthday box and singing happy birthday 😭

@cinnamonsalt 3 years ago

As a Finnish person, I loved watching you eating Salmiakki >:D it's called salty liqorice in many places and it's basically that but the salt is specifically ammonium chloride which gives it the distinct taste

It was my first ever con being there and honestly even if Sarah didnt win she sure won 1st place in my heart because she made my first con experience very magical being able to see her on the stage, it was AWESOME!!

@elisbananabread 3 years ago

Great video as usual, glad you enjoyed närcon!! I was the one with an american flag, I was waving it like a crazy person when you were on stage LOL! You did great, even though you didn't win❤
