So this isnt about investing into financial stocks. This is about real business about investing investing in Eastman Kodaks Film stocks.

So many local Japanese people dont know the real reason behind Kodak Film stock and I thought it would be nice to make a recap on the topic of the current situation between Eastman Kodak and Kodak Alaris (contemplating on making a Japanese version) if time wasnt an issue I would make it but first the English version.

I basically just talked about the main difference in design aspect along with  the current situation and contract thats up for sale in less than 2 years which expires in 2028 (they might extend but highly unlikely)

I talked briefly about because the waiter is going to get fired (the private equity firm/boss is unhappy with the amount of tip=the margins they are making)  soon Eastman the 5 star cook has to do both jobs of distributing the films. That's the reason why the price isn't that different from Alaris side if they get the efficiency up in scale I am guessing the price will be right/ go down.

Until then as we all photographers know keep shooting with the original film and let the money flow into the original company they can make the distribution of the film faster and much more efficient investing those money into the facility etc etc.

Im hoping that they can regain the Portra name along with T-Max until then I will continue shooting with Eastman Kodak Stocks.
