If you are facing dry scalp don't do shampoo atleast once a week or two week when you are not shampooing your hair just wash your hair with water and massage with your fingers...
Currently I'm doing shampoo once a week then i will switch to 2 week and because its summer i do wash my hair with water every day
Who have scales patchy dandruff remove them immediately with comb or something and start using a ketoconazol sampoo. Because sometimes the chemicals in sampoo can't penetrate deep to the hair scalp where the malasezia are actually living. And always remove the patches before they going bigger and started irritating ur scalp. Believe me u will no longer see any single flakes. And plz do a head shaving of u have dandruff
I get dandruff while no shampooing but if you comb your hair before shovering and every day start massaging your scalp for a few mins it tends to go away bc when you shover my hair is so flat and fry and frizzy its soo bad
I'm in my 3rd week of no shampoo now, I still get dandruff but the itchiness have lessen compared to the first week of not using a shampoo. Also, my hair started to look more natural and fluffy compared to when I use shampoo that my hair gets really dry and frizzy. I guess I'll continue this journey for a long time.
so i do this for a month and i have many white flakes all over my head. How long without seeing results is the spot we can conclude that it is not for us?
Your hair looks great! I'm about 1 month in on doing baking soda and ACV once or twice a month and it's not bad but my hair is still super frizzy. Flaking has reduced a little and so has oil production but I'm gonna stick it out for 90 days and see if I reach the peak.
Also, about shampoo companies... what you said is true and it would be wise to have that mindset about ALL products and services you consider buying or "studies" you trust.
