Thanks for a great video, really appreciate you taking us through the whole process step by step.

Wow I can't believe that tiny box has an amp and dsp built in such a small package

I only rather comment when a video is really good, well your vid was so informative, I actually may end up with an Audison Forza setup. Congrats, great job

Thank you so much for doing this informative video series! I had narrowed down my choices between ARC (the X2 800.8 DSP amp...can't afford the Blackbird) and Audison (AF C8.14 bit). Long story short...today I was offered an awesome deal on an AF M8.14 bit and bought it. Your video reassures me that I made a good choice. Cheers!

I'm running the 8.14, and love it. Only thing I have to say abiut the video is that bridging the amplifier does NOT make it passive. It is still an active system when you are NOT using an external crossover.

You can open the software twice, load one full setup and then copy it over to a channel on the first software open in an open profile.

Outstanding video. Thanks for comparing. Now that you had more time w that Audison. I’m just curious if you’re liking it more or less after installing it in other people’s cars since this video? I’m a newby and thinking of getting it for the accordo making tweaks and learning. If I go that route what microphone do you recommend for tuning. I don’t mind spending a little more if the quality is there. Thanks.

I have the Forza M5.11 running my Audison widebands, midbass, rear fill coax and sub. I have just updated the firmware and software. I'll be doing a small change to the front stage, so will run Accordo again. In the previous iteration of Accordo, I ended up doing a manual time alignment, because Accordo seems to pull the image to the right. Hopefully, this update will have fixed that.

Very much enjoyed the video. I have a question as I am truly unfamiliar with dsp amps. Does the software detect a clipping point and automatically set the gains? I often wondered how to properly set gains with amplifiers without a physical gain knob.

Thank you for video , can't decide between audison m8.14 and helix v eight ultimate , i had before forza ap F8.9 bit 😢

The Accordo wizard provides various listing positions based on microphone and blue Dot locations, including front stage, low stage, back stage, and side stage.
Additionally, it offers different house curbs when continuously running the Accordo.
Each time I change a preset, it feels like I am driving a different car.

I have both the helix and audison models that you compared. The audison definitely has more midbass, and user friendliness, but the updates are cumbersome and the amplifier runs pretty hot. The helix has more of a sq feel and easier updates. I’m starting to use the usb perfect stream.

How are you matching speaker vrms or are all the speakers rated for more than what the amp puts out per channel?

My Audison c8.f14 dsp doesnt show up in bit drive or in the firmware update the light keeps blinking blue and when i connect te usb to my laptop it doesnt even make a sound that is connected or something how do i fix this please help

@surajbhan6549 9 months ago

can you tell me when i bridge 7,8 channal for midbass then it equally perform a standalone dsp and amp?

@aksting 10 months ago

At 26:21 https://youtu.be/uAeEeSl7wD4?t=1581 You can see the update reminder in the upper right side of the AFM software indicating there is a firmware update available for the amplifier.

@sonyaroman4667 8 months ago

perhaps the reason the sound in the other peoples vehicles that you listened to was not good was your ears were not in the location the microphone was in when the wizard did its thing.

@Mark_5150 10 months ago

Does the Audison DSP have the same features as the standalone DSP? From what I understand the Helix DSP Amps are missing some of the features.
I'd like to simplify my install, one of these all-in-one DSP amps look appealing for that.
