For the second week running we are working on a previously installed system. This one is quite a bit more complex and has 1 issue from the start and another issue which we run into towards the end of the job.

Watch as we diagnose the faulty sub issue, end up having to change all the amps and DSP and then discover some faulty wiring which costs us around 48 hrs extra working time!

The end result is always worth the pain though and this system with two new Voce Quattro's and an Audison SR1.500 is controlled perfectly with the Helix DSP Pro MK3.

As mentioned in the video, the old Voce amps and Bit One DSP are currently for sale on ebay (December 2024).

Literally answered a qeustion in one video looking at having a audison build next year voce 2 3 ways front 2 ways rear dsp amps all the good stuff wanted it loud as i run a dd audio 712 that sub destorys the car but dont want to part with as i want a sql system and sq midrange that thing sounds amazing good job

Isn't more fun working with nice equiptment in a nice car? I always feel more motivated when that is the case. Even more if the client listens to you and appreciates you for what you do.

A lot of great equipment in this build. Great job in finding all the problems and getting things back up in running . Probably sounds better now than originally.

Wow! I had an almost identical setup in my old Audi A7 with two Audison Voce 5.1k running 3way boston acoustics plus boston pro 8.5s in the front and a Boston SPG555 in the rear. Mosconi dsp though… When it worked, it was beautiful but there was more problems than any system I’ve ever experienced in 20 years. The A7 was the stepping stone to my dream car (RS7) and ultimately parted ways with it for just $6k once the sound dampening (Soundskin) melted and ruined the sunroof, rear hatch, and every door seal in the car. It was a nightmare!

The installer should've recommended a 10 inch sub it would've sounded better and louder for the space

sounds a bit off to me, could be my headphones, but I heard another video that sounded perfectly clear. Tuning didn't look done like you were in the middle of working, but it sounds like the singing is behind a light blanket or something.

I'm sure you got it tuned by the project end.

Would love to see a video on comparing the software for the DSPs out there and how you tune them, all I have touched upon is time delays and levels so not really utilising the multi band EQ, wouldn't mind showing you my old setup which is perhaps not the cleanest but sounded good for what it was, changed cars so thinking what to do next, nothing on the level of what you do, those installs look very neat.
