Every time a new person is introduced to the Rocky franchise, my soul gains an extra sparkling star. A love story franchise with some boxing in it.

I love watching people new to the franchise discover that Rocky isn't a movie about boxing. It's a character study and love story with boxing as part of the backdrop. I remember watching it in the theater when I was 9.

Fun fact Burt Young who played Paulie was an actual professional boxer in the 1950s with a 17-0 record

You two guys gave some great comments thanks for reviewing and reacting to this movie. It's a classic for sure.

One of my favorite scenes is Rocky running down the street to accept Micky as his manager.

One of my favorite films ever!
Sly is an inspiration to everyone with a dream!
Great reaction vid!

Rocky 2 a must. 1 of the best sequels in history. Up there with the Gadfather, top notch.

Easter eggs . Mickey played in the twlight zone
Season 1, Episode 8 —
Season 2, Episode 19 —
Season 2, Episode 29
Season 4, Episode 9 —

Rocky reaction!!! I used to box and I have religiously watched Rocky 1, 2, 3 and 4 growing up and they are some of my favourite films of all time!!

Passed the art museum the other day. Crazy the crowd around the Rocky statue still, 40 years later.

The ending is so great because it literally didnt matter at all who won.  Thats why its so faint in the background. Because thats not what the movies about! One of my favorite movies of all time

This movie was made in 1976, America's 200th birthday. Philadelphia was a major player in America's founding and was one of 9 cities that served as the official capital of the country before Washington was built. It is the site of Independence Hall where the Declaration of Independence was debated and signed and is also the site of the Liberty Bell. Founding Father Benjamin Franklin and seamstress Betsy Ross who designed and made the first American flag also made their homes there

Rocky won an Oscar for Best Picture...gotta see II, III and IV...and see the "I Play Rocky" trailer...

The statue was created for Rocky 3. It first was on the steps of the Spectrum were the Sixers and Flyers play ( basketball, hockey). Then it was moved to the base of the steps of the art museum.  The steps Rocky runs up.

And now there is a movie about making this movie.

Rocky Balboa is the greatest movie character of all time.
Rocky 2 is an all time sequel

Steph demeanor: rainbows, butterflies and song birds.
Steph reality: bruised knuckles, bloody brows and eye lids swollen shut ["Cut me, Mick").

Yeah that statue from the art museum stairs was as Philly airport.

With Rocky's punching power and the injuries that Creed had , Apollo could have died from this fight, I think people forget how lethal Rocky truly was!!!!
