8:56 Rest in peace, Tim Curry😢.

It’s totally ironic that Disney said no to the Secret Of Nimh, claiming they already had mice characters and they didn’t need any more mice and yet they went on to produce the Great Mouse Detective.

I don't want to be "that guy", but does the Sharptooth really count as a villain? He just seems like a really pissed off predatory animal following his instincts, to me. Not exactly a true villain with motivations or sentience.

EDIT: Okay, I didn't realize he actually had a grudge against Littlefoot for injuring his eye. If he was stalking the kids for revenge, then yes, he counts as a villain. I just wish the movie made it a little clearer. At least he wasn't quite in the #1 spot. I'm happy, now.

Sharptooth is my personal favorite not just because of nostalgia but also because of his presence, design and sadistic personality

There's a line Warren T. Rat says at the climax. It's when he gets exposed to all the mice that he's a cat, and then asks them this:
"Who are you gonna believe? Me or your own eyes?"
Everytime i hear it, I just laugh

You know who you should've counted as the true villain of Titan's A.E.? Joseph Korso. He's a fairly interesting villain with a complex relationship to the hero, and ends up saving him in the end. I know I just described a lesser version of John Silver from Treasure Planet, but that came out after, so it shouldn't factor in too much.

If this was a ranking of villain songs, Rasputin would win.

I like to answer your question about why Christopher Plummer went so hard in Rock-a-Doodle with a quote by Christopher Lee: "Every actor has to do at least one terrible movie in his career, the trick is not to be terrible in it." I don't know if that was also Plummer's mindset but it makes sense.

I noticed that alot of Don Bluth villains work behind the scenes rarely intervening with the heroes unless it’s absolutely necessary, like for a fight or confrontation. Why because it's simair as to why there are so many plot twist villains now a days. It's to give the hero's more screen time, while still having a villain.

23:46 you have forgotten to to add that the mice believed that getting rid of the cats was the best thing they have ever accomplished.

But what they don’t really think - for even a second  - that was only ONE gang of cats they’ve seen and faced.

From the moment the mice were on the boat singing “There are no cats in America”, the new nasty felines made their appearance at the street market.

And that the mice will have to face newer and more dangerous and malicious felines all around. For that’s how it’s always supposed to be: Man makes places, mice move in, and following are the cats.

Wherever there’s mice, there’s always the cats.

Sharptooth looks so scary in that pose!!!! Who knew Sharptooth would be the most scariest Tyrannosaurus of movie history?! I know everyone does. Sharptooth scares me just as much as the Distortus Rex does in Jurassic World Rebirth!!!

0:39 that's exactly what Schaffrillas Production said about Disney's Dinosaur

There's actually one way you can make Jenner even more crooked after reading the book. The book apparently says that prior to being captured by NIMH, Jenner and Nicodemus were friends. If you put that into the movie, that makes him all the more cruel and demented.

Don Bluth is synonymous with my childhood. As a 90's kid these are some of my fondest childhood movies/memories.

Couldn't agree more about Warren T. Being realistic and relevant, WOW! Many movies and characters are more relevant today than they were back when they came out. Raisorblade's always right when he points it out.

I watched Titan when I was younger, so my opinion on it is irrelevant. However, the concepts, no matter how terribly executed, were fascinating to me as a kid. For a movie I only watched once I can say I still remember its story. Which is better than most.

Gnorga’s villain song, Queen of mean, stuck with me since I watched this movie the first time in kindergarten. She was what I remembered most about A Troll in Central Park.

Sharptooth might be one of my favourite depictions of the Tyrannosaurus Rex, despite obviously being innacurate.

He’s super cool, imo.

Among my favorite villains, include:

1) Sharptooth: He's also in my top 3 scariest dinosaurs in animation, only below the Scorpius Rex from Camp Cretaceous and the Sauropod-Zombie from Primal. Without this T-Rex, the original Land Before Time wouldn't be the same, as he starred the scariest scenes in the movie and he also was the responsible of one of the saddest scenes in hand-draw animation.
My only issue, is that he felt like a dumb predator considering how many times he got knocked out, but at least he's still not as bad as the other predators from the sequels.

2) Carface: While I do consider Warren T. Cat a realistic villain, I gotta pick this dog because he's basically an evil version of Charlie, as both dogs are are detestable and made the same mistakes. But at least in the first movie worked well, becasue the villain is the representation of what the hero can become if he doesn't change.
Too bad this was ruined in the rest of the franchise, as Charlie not only became more obnoxius but as Carface himself, he doesn't feel like like a realistic villain anymore.

3) Jenner: I'm agreed this guy very bland and could have been a memorable villain, but he still highlights The Secret of NIHM movie during the climax. And his death was more than well-deserved.

Jim Cummings did not have to go that hard singing in the dark of the night.
