As a blind person myself, this was a joy to watch

This is genius.  You don’t have to worry about seeing an asymmetrical lawn and being morally obligated to constantly fix it even if it’s the wrong move strategically!

I love how he does this cuz blind runs are some of the most common ones to fake (and some of the easiest), but he rose above the accusations by just...giving instructions. Like this man really said "I'm not just gonna do it, I'm gonna break it down and show you how to do it."

0:10 fellas, we found the person playing as the plants in Izombie

I feel like Crazy Dave would absolutely recommend the player put on a blindfold either for style or because he thinks it's optimal.
Thanks for being a little crazy Sample.

39:37 You buying rakes thinking it was roof cleaners, then going to buy roof cleaners thinking it was rakes is absolutely hilarious

I love how this video showcases the BRILLIANT sound design of Plants Vs Zombies. Sound effects and musical cues are so underrated when talking about video games as an artform, and this is proof of how important it can be mechanically

I can't imagine how psychologically distressing it was playing through the entire game without one of your main senses! The part where you got the taco and thought it was a plant was hilarious, as well as at 39:01 where it looks like you are throwing the sun upwards.

As an actual blind person revisiting the game, this was incredibly interesting. There is a blind accessibility mod out now I’m currently trying out, so most of the challenges here aren’t relevant. Still very impressive and entertaining.
Oh and for the geniuses asking how I do anything, there’s something called text to speech or your mother reads everything to me, pick one.

Little tip for collecting sun: press R2 (or RT) to make all of the sun go to your cursor automatically instead of having to go close to it, the game never tells you, you just have to figure out

38:56 This bit had me rolling on the floor laughing. I did not expect this to happen at all, but the fact he jumped out of his camera to berate a sleeping mushroom was gold.

About the zomboss fight, it makes sense that planting in a lane that lost its cleaner would cause zombies to spawn there again. The flags that prevent spawning are there to give you some time to replant your defenses after losing the lane, so by planting there it’s telling the game “I can defend this lane now, you can send zombies again”

I love the fact that on top of a god tier challenge, he gave us a tier list

The song audio cue strat at 7:51 is so GENIUS to me! I love listening to and humming to the soundtracks of all the levels, so using Loonboon's beat drop to time a full screen barage of Wall-nuts is SO COOL.

34:21 i feel like this moment shows off best how well designed pvz 1 is, because the fact that nearly everything having a sound cue allows someone to dissect a situation they're in while completely blind is almost certainly masterful design

I have a great amount of joy when the games have a "Now you cant see obstacle" in a blind run, also amazing video Sam

33:47 its confirmed, taco is a plant

Is there a word for the opposite of a nitpick? If so, this is one of those: I appreciate that the title doesn’t pretend like this is some journey we’re all on to see if it’s possible or not. I like that you already did it, take pride in that, and present this more as a documentary of your work than a standard challenge run.

36:57 This is my favourite moment in the entire video. The joke was so simple yet so effective

My high ass thought the zombies gon be blind
