This is my current car camping setup in my Subaru Outback Wilderness using the Helebox platform.

Gear underneath, gear beside me, bed always ready. No rearranging, no setup. I pull in and I'm done.
For solo trips where the car is home base for skiing, fishing, running this is the upgrade I should have made years ago.

I looked at buying one of these several times. I instead finally settled on a Naturehike cot 6.7" storage area in lowv set up. I can use it in a tent and raise it to 15 in with the additional legs. Only 116 versus 400 +. But the real game changer is I don't have to have my footwells behind the driver and passenger seat taken up by the long legs of the Helebox. I can actually put one large power station behind the driver and my composting toilet fits behind the passenger seat. The helebox would not make that configuration possible. Glad you're happy with what you've got glad I'm happy for what I got. Peace God bless

You could've gotten a high end memory foam sleeping pad for half the price. That's how I set up my 2025 outback.

I’m planning my tent camping gear for car camping in my 2025 OB. I have a nice thermarest mondo king 3d xxl that is an incredibly comfortable pad. It seems to be fine on the folded down seats and trunk. Is this to get some more storage room underneath with the OB?

It looks really cool. Unfortunately, my issue with my Outback is I can barely sit up as it is. Being an old guy, sitting up is getting more important all the time. But for what it is, with the versatility, quality and being made in the states, I don't see it being over priced.
