Ha ha. Since I live in central Arkansas, we are just beginning now to get over 100 degree temps. But still presently running up into the low 90s during the afternoons. I suspect we will be up in mid to late December, before I need to start my basement woodburner. Glad to see you got enough wood to get you through til Spring!

Boilerwood!! Most nights here are staying in the 50s. So, with that, no wood stove fire planned, not yet.
Waiting for some colder nights before stocking wood up at the house, but it's on the radar.

I suspect some air is trapped in your system, air will expand much more than water, raising the emperature from 50ºF to 178ºF will expand the volume of the water 3%, air volume will expand about 23 %.
