I sure miss shoestring God bless his soul!

the audio sounds so good outside, its like you're inside a building

Miss you Shoestring. Hope you’re enjoying the final Westbound.

When you put those sunglasses on you looked like Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top

The hobo knows the only true freedom. I love the fact that they stick together and help each other ...we could learn from them...

we would take wooden. sticks  and spin around the the  hole trying to get to doodlebug to come out . when we were kids .

My dad was a hobo back in the 1920s and 1930s. He told me many stories about people he had met, and places he visited. The things that i realy liked were the secret symbols that the bo's would mark on gates and posts to let other bo's know if the people living there were friendly or not. If they would give you something to eat or if there was a mean dog there. He also showed me some of the old hobo camps just outside rail yards where they would wait for a train. I learned the names of some of the infamous railroad dicks that worked the Virginian, the C@O, the N@W, and the B@O railroads. Dad said that when the bo's arrived in camp that each one would have something in their pocket or pack to contribute for a meal. One may have some potatos, another carrots or other kinds of vegatables. They would find a metal container of some kind to make a hobo stew and an old can to use to make coffee. For the most part they were honest law abiding men in search of work and not bothering anyone.

Binge watching your videos... Love the content.. love your stories the most.. I have anxiety attacks like crazy.. and listening to your stories take my mind off of things..

Thank you for saving that puppy. I'm sure he had a wonderful life with you

I worked down in Avondale for a awhile shortly after Katrina. And I was stationed in Meridian back in the 90's. Love that whole area.

You threw up to feed the puppy? That's love, that's clever love right there. I don't know if I would of even came up with that.

You ever hear of Hobo Wrong way, I met him in San Antonio 45 years ago.

Most of the time, people are cool, But ya there's some who live by taking others down.  Bull got me in Avondale yard, he come up on me with a 1911 45 Cal.  After he dumped my bag and seen my folded clothes,  He said you were Navy.?  He knew by the way the clothes were folded.  He let me and my case of beer go.

Shoestring is awesome! This hobo literally threw up his own food to feed that dog. Incredible. Bless this man.
