I love 28 Years Later. One of the most visually dynamic, immersive, and interesting films I've seen recently.

Army of darkness and evil dead 2 are still my favorite movies

When I clicked this video I wondered if Exorcist III would be included in the 13 greatest horror sequels, and sure as shit it was.

I'm glad you mentioned New Nightmare. That movie was actually scarier to me than the other sequels. It is so underrated.

Matt Draper is my new favorite. He's so thoughtful and thorough in his analyses. I can fall asleep to his videos. And if you're reading this Matt, I really really loved your Return to Oz video. Everything about it. You're a special kinda person, almost like a professor, enthusiast and a preacher all in one! ❤

Day of the Dead is a personal fav not only for the film, but Logan and Bub. My favorite zombie and a great mad doctor. As a HUGE Wolverine fan, it's just such a treat Romero used those names

Amityville 2 is a solid pre-quel sequel.

28 Years Later was one of my favorite movies from last year. I was not expecting it to be such a gut punch of emotion and a brilliant take on zombies in a Post-pandemic world. Who knew that nearly three decades later, we’d get a brilliant meditation on life and death from the long dormant franchise.

I too love Jason Lives! I loved Jason as a kid and all the movies blended together, but when I started studying them as an adult I realized that EVERY great Jason moment I loved was from 6! It's also incredible looking with great cinematography and production value. McLoghlin was a great stylist.

I had a feeling that Evil Dead 2 was going to be included, after all it IS the greatest movie ever made, but this was still a great list of horror sequels that managed to live up to the quality of their predecessors.
