It was a backing track in the beginning because Miyako had just finished her piano outro for "Swan Song" and she probably had to get back to her "position". If you want to hear more acoustic guitar, check out one of their masterpieces - "A Frozen Serenade" LIVE : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ae8pQVu-RN8 .

This acoustic guitar intro is a recording and gives Miyako opportunity to re-group as this follows "Swan Song" where she finishes up with a piano solo. For LIVE acoustic guitars, "Epilogue" 2019 (DotD) begins with both on acoustics, then Miyako moves to piano before an electric guitar solo, and "A Frozen Serenade" in 2021 Midori plays an acoustic guitar solo while Miyako is on piano (HMND). Miyako's solo piano EP has this song in solo piano arrangement.

LOVEBITES - Addicted lyrics:
Lost in the noises surrounding me,
I’m hiding underneath my breath
Never to know what the sunlight is,
I know that I’m as good as dead

The city lights and the neon signs
are always so delusional
They lure me in like a Venus fly,
deranging me into its trap

Hey, I wanna ask, what do you see from there？
I don’t care who I am, no not anymore

Addicted – Attracted to honey
Addicted – I’m a thirsty butterfly
Infatuation sinks deep into my skin
And I know that it won’t let me go

With every breath I speak and deceive,
as lies come pouring out my mouth
Uncanny thoughts fill my head with need,
I cry as I laugh at myself

Hey, I wanna ask, what do you see from there？
I don’t care who you are, no not anymore

Addicted – If I could fall with the rain
Addicted – And wash everything all away
Would I be able to take my memories
And go back to that time once again

SOLO: midori / miyako / both

Hey, I wanna ask, what do you see from there？
I don’t care who I am, no not anymore

Addicted – Attracted to honey
Addicted – I’m a thirsty butterfly
I’m so addicted, I taste it once again,
and again, and again
And I know that it won’t let me go

Yes, I’m addicted to amazing Lovebites. Thanks for reacting to them. Acoustic guitar is a backing track here.  You can seem them playing acoustic guitar in “Epilogue” and “A frozen serenade” (live)

Perfect channel for Lovebites reactions. I don't think there are many bands in the world that have as much time spent on solos as Lovebites' Midori and Miyako spend. Doesn't hurt that they are very talented at both playing and in composing interesting melodic solos, crafted to enhance the song - not just to fill in with some fast guitar licks.

I'm really happy to have you back as well Brian!!  I agree with you that the acoustic part may be a pre-recorded track.  Why don't you try their Soldier Stands Solitarily https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJbg_8kYOYg&t=357s.  The song is supersonic fast and M&M got insanely good guitar solos.  Haruna goes crazy on her bass drums.

Glad that there's more LOVEBITES to come. I'm seriously addicted. 👍👍👍👍👍

This is the Lovebites song Miyako covered on her piano album etude op23

Just i know LOVEBITES... now best heavy metal band in world....❤❤❤❤❤ this is a reality...show all they already recording on world...
