Is that a hint

good explanation on why sometimes I play (lichess ratings from there on) struggle a game loose it or almost win it then see the rating afterwards (I play on zen mode) then see I played 1600 (me being 2200) and be like "wtf was that". Because on the good day and landing on a good plan those 1600 can play. Usually creating some mess is where they fall.

Keep em coming!!!

Thanks a million ❤

you make me laugh out loud - thank you!

10:55 Ben ten's Omnitrix yeah I've been there 😢

Chess becomes more fun the stronger you become. Official play though is something else especially classical. I’m rated 2k online but only bullet/blitz/rapid. Never touched classical, I signed up for a classical tournament, my first ever, before the tournament started I was playing unofficial matches with people in my category and a little higher, 3-10 minute matches, demolished everyone. But when it got to the official classical games the story repeated itself 3 times, I had a stronger position, or plain winning, couple hours into the game, I’m still around the 90 minute start of the match while all my opponents have used 30-60 minutes already, I blitz out moves, calculate and I see myself winning, then in the last second idk why I’m like, this looks kinda fun, play a move I half ass calculated in 10 seconds and it’s downhill from there. Fucking brutal. It was a Swiss, I only got a single point because of BYE and lost rds1,3,4 and didn’t even go to the last two. Literally the guy that got second place I fucking checkmated in a 5+3 match. I must also say that my health was the worst during this time, still is but in another way. Chess is immense. It’s great though, I’ve met a ton of people through chess alone, solid friendships.

These videos always make me laugh man, Thanks.

I think the same things when playing any competitive game at high level, it suddenly stops being fun, it's all work, hard work

2:38 didn't know you could promote a queen to a bishop 🤔

5:41 There's actually 1 (or 2) serious blunder from each side every game on average at <2000elo, but it gets rare at >2000elo
I have always been thinking low elo chess was more fun, but at higher elo, you can have more brilliant moves and still have fun

Not only will I cherish the sub 2000 days while I still can... I will cherish them forever

Wow, I can relate. I have been hovering above 2000 for several years now, not making any progress, yet grinding out long games against worthy opponents. The fun? Where is the fun? I have decided to become a chess fan. I love to study the game and play over games of the masters but playing is just no fun anymore.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Is this all AI? How do you call a queen a bishop and a knight a bishop?
