Oh yeah, I forgot to mention in the video that if you want the MOD to only affect the bridge or neck individually, just remove a ground wire from the switch. For example, remove the neck ground from the switch (solder it to ground as usual) so that only the bridge ground wire is connected to the switch. The MOD will now only affect the bridge pickup. Removing the neck pickup won’t affect the bridge pickups’ modified sound. Cheers!

Just did this mod two weeks after seeing this video and thinking, it doesn’t look too difficult. Thank you for giving me the confidence to try it, it sounds awesome!

Killer mod. I was expecting some sort of transformer. Definitely trying this out.

lol, the mod sound is fantastic but the sound before the mod is also... fantastic.

As i understand it just wiring to do a "humbucker" from 2 singles with additional filter cap.

This is such a killer mod. I really appreciate the way you freely share this kind of stuff. :chillwcat:

I just put this in my first strat, and it sounds awesome!

I paired it with the fender tbx tone pot mod for the bridge tone bass/treble control, and I’m super happy.

All passive, and tons of tone shaping. Great mod!

After what this did to to the bridge pickup, I'll be trying this one.

Dude I am so happy I found your channel. I’ve been looking for this info forever. You present everything in this great cooking show style. Like here’s my recipe but you can do this or this. And I think it’s great keep it up.

Awesome love all your cool mods.
Would like to see some mods for the fender TBX tone control and know how or what the resistor values changes affect the sound?

I LOVE these videos mate!!! (Fellow kiwi here too) is this also along the lines as the Tyler mid boost they do? It sounds killer either way, so smooth and not a harsh bump. Love it mate! 👌

Totally love these videos you post. So interesting and educational. I modded my Wah pedal according to you post and it sounds freaking AMAZING!!!

Love these vids, great concepts!

Wonderful and underrated mod! Installed it in combination with a 10 way switch. Without it the neck and middle in series sounded too muddy but with it is like a hot p90. Thank you so much!

@1loveMusic2003 1 year ago

That's cool. I like the phase switch personally and I use an EQ pedal for those kind of things.

That's the best and most useful mod you have shown us for a Stratocaster. Did mod with a 33NF pio oil cap wired only to the Bridge and nothing on the middle to get control over the Bridge and a very open raw sound from the middle. Your mod is great for being switcable. Great stuff...keep experimenting and Thanks!!
