NOT THE PLAN… 🌧️➡️🔥
I headed out into the woods expecting a proper wet, miserable bushcraft session — the kind where you really test your skills in the rain.
But… it didn’t go to plan.
Instead of battling the elements, the weather completely flipped. What started as a rainy setup turned into a calm, sunny camp. So I adapted.
In this video I:
Set up a simple tarp shelter
Got a fire going
Cooked up some proper food
And made the most of a day that didn’t go how I expected
Sometimes bushcraft isn’t about perfect conditions — it’s about adapting and enjoying what you’ve got.
👉 If you enjoy real, no-nonsense outdoor sessions, stick around.

Your beard is doing well! Keep with it. A little bit of beard butter or oil will help with the itch and you need to stick it out past the itching point to get past the itching point. Yes, sounds silly, but I know from personal experience that is how you get past the itching.
Looking forward to those future canoe trips!
