I would say that if all the coach’s clients seem to become coaching themselves then it’s just a coaching pyramid scheme. Like those courses that teach you how to make courses and everyone who takes the course just makes more courses about selling courses

Before your career change, I knew nothing about coaching. It’s been fascinating to learn about it. Congrats!! 🎉

I just wanted to say that I’m really happy for you :) I’ve been a fan for half a decade and watching you feels like watching an older sister (maybe an Eldest Daughter… 👀) going through the life transitions before you. My first video was a collab with Lucy about getting your shit together. Sending you positive vibes for this new phase❤

Congratulations! It's been so exciting to see you accomplish your goals! You inspire me to go after what I want as well.

Congratulations on the certification! It was interesting to see you describe the difference between coaching and therapy. I’m a therapist and I definitely have had concerns seeing the amount of influencers who go into coaching, particularly when they advertise themselves as mental health coaches lol. Like, I did six years of advanced schooling and then even after that have to pursue a clinical license to in order to practice! There’s lots of requirements and steps, as I think there should be, for someone who is a healthcare professional. So it often feels sketchy to me when I see all these influencers calling themselves coaches when they didn’t even need a degree to get that title, and since it’s not regulated, anyone can call themselves a coach. I appreciate you educating your audience on ways they can look for a coach who has more training behind them, and it’s very interesting to learn more about career coaching specifically!

In addition to the difference with therapy, therapists are also certified to work with trauma, addiction, and relational issues. There are goal-oriented and present moment forms of therapy as well. Therapy requires a masters or doctorate, and licensure requires many hours, so much more schooling behind it as well.

I find coaching to be good for those who are overall functioning well but need help meeting specific goals.

Buckwild of you Hannah to start a course and ivf at the same time, but congrats 😂 In my second pregnancy any additional stress just sent me over the edge so I cannot fathom how you managed it 😂

Leaving a comment for the algorithm, great video

My 7 planets in Virgo love this type of videos lol 😂❤

Congratulations on becoming a qualified coach!! I really enjoyed hearing your experiences with and thoughts about coaching training. What are you most excited about in terms of your work with coaching clients now you’ve finished the course? 💛

Hahaha, I also have the Michael Hobbes voice calling out bullshit in my head, too! I'm glad that it wasn't as big of an uh-oh moment as you initially thought, and it turned out to be a safe space 😂

I'm looking into becoming a creativity coach and this video was really helpful, thank you Hannah!

Congratulations on your accomplishment, Hannah!

Congratulations!

Hi Hanna, such a clear and insightful explanation! I was looking around on your site and got slightly confused again as on your coaching page the review by Tiffany specifically mentions tips and advice. Would you say that was more of a mentor role or did she experience the coaching as advice even though you do not specifically give advice?

I’m realizing this may sound like nitpicking but I promise it’s out of interest! I’ve felt very iffy about many coaches and I love your openness and exploration of what it actually entails, it definitely breeds confidence in your ability.

congrats on getting certified :)

What you said about not everyone who becomes a certified coach starts a coaching business is definitely true. A lot of my colleagues have coaching certifications, especially those in senior management. None of them have ever worked as a freelance coach. They found coaching skills useful for managing teams and mentoring more junior colleagues

GIRL I AM SAT!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but on your coaching website it says “II’m Hannah” with 2 “I”s. who wrote this copy 😅
