For decades, the Italian-American Mafia has been remembered as THE American crime story, but in Boston, Cleveland, and New York, Irish-American gangs didn't just survive alongside the Mob. They went to war with it, infiltrated it, out-informed it, and in some cases outlasted it entirely.

This is the full, no-filler history of the Irish Mob, three cities, five decades, and one of the darkest bargains in FBI history.

From the Prohibition-era docks of Manhattan to the car-bombed streets of 1970s Cleveland to the 16-year manhunt that ended in a Santa Monica apartment, this is the complete story, told in order, with no repeats and no filler.
