Thank you for being so open about the changes and struggles!  It's refreshing to hear an honest homeschool update instead of only the perfect side. Your curriculum updates were really helpful too. Wishing you a great October! 🍂

Love the story of your father in law rescuing you guys from being stuck in the mud! So sorry about the weeks of sickness, that's miserable. Also, 100% agree that Math U See is such an easy add-on, one quick worksheet a day and is just gives that extra practice for fluency.

Sounds like you have had the same year we have with being sick. We have been fighting whatever this sickness is for 2 months! I hope you all feel better quickly! Thank you for the video! Staying motivated when you can’t get into a rhythm has been hard.

I love Easy Grammar, especially their Daily Grams! I also prefer to piece together my LA curriculum. I haven’t heard you talk about spelling, but if you like the “one worksheet a day” style that is independent, try out spelling workout. You don’t need the teachers guide. I have used it for 5 years and all my kids are good spellers. I also like she’ll education 180 days of math for daily review. Sorry you have been sick. I had a terrible cough that lasted about 7 weeks at the start of the school year. It was absolutely terrible with episodes of bronchospasm multiple times throughout the day. I hope you get better soon and the days of being sick can be behind you! Also, it is amazing that your husband is on board with homeschooling. Mine is ok with it through elementary school but middle on up will be public school. I have two more years with my middle child and five more with my youngest. I’m trying to cherish every moment because I am sure it will fly by.

I hope y’all get better soon with illness and dental work! 😊

Thanks for sharing

I loved the part about turning reading practice into a game and having her hop from card to card 🥹 It’s amazing how much little ones can learn when it feels like play instead of work! That same idea is a big part of why we create learning songs at Ekinto Tales too. 🐘🎵 We’re working toward our first 1,000 subscribers, so if your little one enjoys learning through music and play, we’d love to have you along for the journey! ❤
