"What If" videos have returned! This week at least. I wanted to explore what Legacy Stores would have looked like if they were done properly, with some new criteria to help me figure this out.

Crap, please don't label this as for kids. It's not meant for kids, it's meant for archival and entertainment purposes.

Here’s what I think. If CEC corporate had fully understood the value and legacy of the unremodeled locations and special stages years ago, like 2016 or 2017 at the latest (specifically around the upcoming 50th anniversary at that time), we could’ve gotten legacy locations LONG ago. York, Rockford, Tampa, Huntsville, pretty much all the special CECs that should’ve deserved legacy status. But it took them until 2023, a point in time where most of the remaining stages had been wiped out, to even finally consider legacy stores at all. Goes to show that we could’ve had all that stuff a while back, and corporate took way too long on it. And sadly, it’s a good example of doing stuff that’s “too little, too late.”

Awesome! I think la mesa could’ve been chosen since around that time the stage was still in good shape and all of the OTC decor and art

What if CEC never removed their animatronics and kept them in all the stores

Jonesboro is an absolute no-brainer choice ngl. It really was the studio C retro store we deserved.

I honestly wish that they did this concept from the beginning.

My personal idea for legacy stores is there’s one in every state, so if a state had a store with animatronics in it, that would be the legacy store, and there would be poles on social media to see which one deserves to become a legacy store.

I agree with you on Rockford and Mississauga

Omg i love that rockford was included i hate that it never got to be a legacy store but i wish that you would include a 1 stage that could maybe have a tux chuck and similar outfits to Irving Texas
