This short documentary was written, produced, filmed, narrated, and edited by me as my capstone project to earn my A.A. in Mass Media Production. It tells the story of my acquisition and restoration project of the original Chuck E. Cheese's animatronic character I own. It also shares an abbreviated history about Chuck E. Cheese and their treatment of their animatronic shows. I hope you enjoy this documentary and a more in-depth look into my most prized possession!

Who doesn't want an animatronic as a pet? I wish I did sometimes because it's completely mess free

As someone who also owns parts from wichitas stage, it truly shows how much CEC doesn’t care about their animatronics one bit. Masks ripped to shreds, eyelashes removed from their eyelids, I can go on.

However I’m so glad to be part of a community so dedicated on restoring these old characters back to the way they were supposed to be meant for. It’s so surreal to see how bad CEC Entertainments destruction policy backfired on them.

It's crazy how this bot was in shambles snapped and bent (before you bought it) then it got repaired and when it was passed to you You did the greatest fix I've seen for a road stage bot.

"They go away", is corporate slang for "I hate art!"

Jasper was always my favorite animatronic and I was devastated when I went to chuck e cheese just to see that there were no cool moving guys on stage

This was a beautiful piece of work and it shows just clearly how much the company underestimates these "extra costs". Not to mention ofc the beautiful work done on Jasper over the past year. This really was a 10/10

My Dog, The Robot: A Story About Chuck E. Cheese Animatronics

At that point, write a book or make a documentary on this topic, because the title literally sounds like it came from a book or a movie/documentary, and that is one of the greatest video titles I've ever seen on YouTube👌

Whiticha's Jasper got the best possible outcome for him. Aka, getting a owner who cares and will do anything to repair him.

THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS! I actually collect Teddy Ruxpin and other animated dolls, and have them rigged up on a stage. Why? To replace what this company ripped away from me, and now I will never have that taken from me ever again! I actually got to visit Wilmington, NC, and see the last Munch Jr. when I was a kid, and now it's gone forever! These characters and equipment are beyond special, and you are doing an amazing job at saving this beautiful history! Thank you for your work!
