crazy how they've done 3 videos on Katz deli but they couldnt afford to keep Harry and Joe making actually original videos. Wild

Everyone's hung up on the ~$30 sandwich but Im stuck on $17 for 3 latkes and a side of applesauce & sour cream 😂😂 also you get a good helping of pastrami so if you split a sandwich w someone thats like $14 per person which in NYC isn't totally unreasonable. Plus the quality looks on point

(It was 12oz of pastrami not 16, sorry 😩)

I loved Katz's when I was younger. (30-35 years ago). Unfortunately, I stopped going about 15 years ago when a sandwich and a bowl of soup started to cost as much as a week's groceries. It looks so good, though. I'll go back again someday.

Ive been a chef for almost 20 years and know the industry inside and out. What Katz does is incredible. Keeping up with that demand is a lot harder than you would think

As a non-American person (I’m Canadian) the cost of the sandwich may appear very expensive at first. But as someone who has been there a couple of times, this sandwich is SO huge & heavy, that it will be your only meal of the day (If you can manage to finish it in one sitting.) Also, the sandwich comes with a loaded plate of cucumbers & pickles included in the price. Totally worth it IMO
