Rest in Peace, Tony Todd. I liked that the Filmmakers knew that he was dying while making the latest film, so let him go out on a high note.

To this day, so many people of that generation are nervous behind log transporting trucks because of this franchise.

This franchise should end with a pull out to Bugs Bunny playing the sims and saying “ain’t I a stinker?”

A 2+ hour Rube Goldberg documentary!

That Tony Todd speech did make me tear up watching the film. It’s so beautiful that that’s the message Tony wanted to be his final gift to his fans.

I know some people felt it was jarring for Bludworth to act like this but I don’t see his seeming apathy towards the survivor’s lives in earlier films compared to how sweet he is here as a retcon or as being unrealistic for his character.

I think maybe seeing the pattern he almost died in play out over and over with barely any positive outcomes made him jaded and reluctant to bond with the survivors in any way because he knows it’s futile 99% of the time. That could easily explain why he acts so much colder and more nihilistic in the previous entries.

Maybe his illness and knowledge of his impending natural death made him more sympathetic to people with limited time left and gave him a more positive outlook on life.

It also it makes perfect sense he would be much kinder to the family of the woman who saved him as a child and try to show his gratitude by being straightforward and empathetic towards them. In my head canon both those things are true and explain the change in his behaviour without needing the context of the meta reason we get that speech.

In Germany, the Movie "Dying to Live" from 1990 is called "Final Destination - On a Detour to the Afterlife". Till I found out what the Original Title is, I thought the first Movie was really good and the Sequels were Torture Porn who lost the Plot.

Holy shit Brad, I never thought this was gonna happpen

I still remember when part 2 showed up on tv once, and my mom was half-asleep and thought it was a real news report. lol Tony Todd was easily the best part of all these films. RIP to both Tony Todd and my mom.

I have watched an uncountable number of Final Destination series synopses, and break downs. But only now am I realizing that FD3’s main actor and actress, I know from watching Disney Channel Movies growing up.

37:18 Brad, you maniac, where do you find all these wonderful forgotten gems? "For God's sake, take the stairs" made me laugh out loud, for real, I had to pause the video and look up the movie. Same thing happened earlier with Sole Survivor. Please never change, Brad!

I had been binging the reviews, this is perfect timing!

I'd seen cinema snob from his appearances in nostalgia critics annual movies, but now after watching his stuff, he's got an interesting and fun take on things, nice change from other reviewers. Glad Brad's still going strong and looking forward to more . Keep at it dude.

Hell yes,  I'm here for every second of this

Let's Go Brad 🙏 this is going to be a fun video!

Wow I was JUST wishing that you had a compilation of these yesterday!!
Love these reviews Brad, keep up the good work !!

This is a separate comment but around the time this film came out a man died in an MRI machine because he was in the room wearing a heavy metal chain with a bike lock on it around his neck while the machine was still powered on. MRI machines typically take a long time to power down so generally aren’t turned off.

He was helping up his wife from the gurney and had just forgotten he was wearing it. He was pulled against the machine and slowly choked to death by the chain and there was absolutely nothing that could be done. The pull was too strong to release him, the chain was drawn too tight to cut loose and the machine would have taken well over an hour to power down.

They’re definitely not as cartoonishly strong as they are here, just like the lasik lasers can’t be set to go so high in real life, but if you’re fairly close (within a couple of feet) and very unlucky death by MRI machine can happen.

A compilation of all of the snobs final destination reviews? Put it on my veins lol

I’m personally afraid of heights so planes, roller coasters, and towers are absolutely BOT on my bingo card.

1:49:05 if you think about it...

The cop jumped in front and saved her from death, then her boyfriend saved her from being killed by killing him and taking his "stolen life". The rule is that if a person who is supposed to be gone saved you, you are marked,  meaning she was supposed to die

So she died on that plane because she was meant to die in the restaurant

And there were tons of hints through the movie

From the Satan ride to the song

I only knew Ali Larter from the first two, which is the only two I saw, and man did I have a huge crush on her. Not into blondes, but she was one of the few exceptions. Now I’m watching her in Landman and she is seriously amazing, you couldn’t tell she was Ali Larter, how damn good her acting is. Yeah, even in my 40s now, and Married, I still crush on her.
