These year in review compilations have become my most anticipated reviews from Brad every year. We all should say thank you to Brad (...and Don King)

Props to Brad for being the only person on Youtube to talk about "The Adventures of Mark Twain" and not mention the "The Mysterious Stranger" segment.

This was a stacked year

David Lynch knew everything was important to a film: plot, setting, character, music, production design, wardrobe, cinematography, lighting, framing, and especially sound. Lynch’s obsession with sound design is apparent in every film. Whether it’s unsettling drones or the subtle creaks of twigs, Lynch understood every timbre of sound told a story.

And dont get me started on his meticulous attention to production design!

R.I.P. to the greatest director of all time.

Amazing work Brad!

I think I have left the same comment every time, but this series is SO GOOD. TRULY magnificent. Thank you thank you thank you

Star Trek 4: The Voyage Home. That was the 1986 movie that blew my socks off - and it still blows my socks off today! Great video!

Yes! I am set for the night! These are my favorite videos to watch! ❤❤❤❤❤❤

How good was 1986!

1986 gave us classics like Top Gun, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Aliens and Labyrinth.
But for my money Big Trouble in Little China is my favorite as every time I watch it I feel like I am seeing it for the first time again!! This movie kicks so much ass then and now!

Short Circuit, Top Gun, The Great Mouse Detective, Stand By Me, Blue Velvet, Hannah and her Sisters and Ferris Bueller's Day Off rank as some of my favourites of 1986.

Please don't stop doing these. 4-plus hours of pure entertainment

Murphy's law is when i first realized I had a thing for muscle mommies years before Futurama introduced the world to Snu Snu

Wait all year for these to come out!  They are by far the most entertaining docs on You Tube!  Thanks Brad!  Ready for 87' next August!

Wow, this is great! 1986 had a shitton of cool movies, including the animated Transformers. I was eight that year and not quite old enough to see most of these when they were in the theater. The following year is when my mom and also my dad and stepmom would start taking me to see movies that weren't really for kids, but I was with them so I was allowed in. Thanks for doing this, Snob!

Grab your Popcorn and cold drinks folks, it's time for four hours of 1986 in Film with Cinema Snob!

86 was a great year for film. Also, "and Don King" has made it into my vernacular.

Ah, 1986. I was 10/11 that year and there was not much to do in my small town except attend the little two screen theatre on the other side of town, so I watched many of these on the big(-ish) screen. Yes, even the R-rated Aliens. While I still like Alien better, it was a worthy sequel. But Radner/Wilder taking a Haunted Honeymoon will always be my favourite. I don't care that it doesn't make much sense, and the plot has holes big enough to walk through, the beautiful creepy old house and that ensemble still draw me in to this day. I once paid waaay too much money for a used VHS copy from a local rental shop because I just had to own it. I'm glad I have an old DVD copy now, as I think the movie is largely forgotten. I still quote it, always to people who have no idea what the quote is from, and if they care to ask, I tell them all about this wonderful movie.

Fun fact the mouse in the great mouse detective was named basil in reference to the actor basil rathbone who famously played Sherlock in many movies
