It's his birthday today and I'm having mixed feelings. He passed before I was born, but I miss him a lot anyway and it's just sad that he didn't get to grow older, it's crazy thinking that he'd be 55 today. But birthdays are a celebration of life and if I were gone, I wouldn't want people to be upset over it all the time. So today I'm just celebrating the life that he did have, and this really cheered me up so thanks for making it. Rest in peace, Layne, and happy birthday. If there's an afterlife or a heaven, I hope you're up there, having some cake 💜

I could listen to Layne talking voice all day.

my aunt breifly met layne in '90 or '91, at his apartment in seattle with demri and a few other people. my aunt was 19 or 20 at the time and she was quite shy as she didn't know anyone there. layne noticed she was uncomfortable and shyly gave her a popsicle. it's very simple and she told the story to me while shrugging, though i think it really shows how sweet layne was. he was a funny, sweet guy who i wish i could've seen in my lifetime. he wouldn't want to be remembered for how he withered away; he'd want to be remembered for how kind he was and his sense of humor. we miss you, layne <3

This was great. What a sense of humor he had. He was adorable, funny, kind and a vocal god.

He was soooo sarcastic, sometimes shy but very intelligent.  Man  he was something so special. There will never be anyone like him ever. Not even close.

I LOVE the clip of Layne antagonizing that guy in the audience 🖤

This compilation really captures just how funny Layne was, which is something that comes up again and again whenever his friends speak of him. And that laugh! How he should be remembered, thank you 💞

love how aat 0:56 sean stands up like ready to back layne lol

Layne will ALWAYS be amazing!!!

I love how each time Layne was going off on someone in the audience, Sean Kinney was right there to have his back.

Layne is a good person .
