It’s all painful but it was Jerry adopting Layne’s cat Sadie that got me.  😢❤

RIP Layne. You were the best despite your struggle. You are missed.

A voice like no other. Rest easy Layne. I guess some special things/people aren't made to last long. They burn bright and fast. And I'll never forget them

I was in a rehab in York,Pennsylvania when I heard about his death,it was announced in the day room of the facility the day after his death. It really hit home to a lot of us there. I was 23 years old. It took me another 3 years to finally get clean from my own opiate addiction. Many of us in that place never did . Great video as usual.

The best voice to ever go through a microphone. There isn’t a voice that’s more powerful and distinct as Laynes..and I do have Chris Cornell and Ozzie coming in behind Laynes. Layne was simply the best!🐐🐐

'Nutshell' is in my top 3 favourite songs of all time. That sh*t really hits

I got AIC with Metallica tickets in 94 but Staley had to cancel the tour. That was my only chance to see Layne. RIP Staley

Heroin is a terrible substance because once you use a little,  you're hooked,  and it becomes what you care about above all else. The depression, isolation, easy access and endless money was a death sentence.

I saw AiC open for Kiss in Detroit in ‘96. I wasn’t familiar with them at the time so didn’t know how Layne had looked before his addictions.  I told my buddy with me at the show when they came onstage about Layne:  “That dude is so pale he’s almost translucent.” I’d never seen a guy so pale. I’m pretty sure he was wearing all black which made it look even more shocking. I think he was pretty sick by that time with addiction. After that I got into there music and have come to appreciate Layne as one of the best and most unique rock singers of all time.

So tragic and sad.

At least we had him while we did. Such a tragic story, imagine hoping for a positive reunion with your estranged father, only to end up with a junkie enabler.

When I heard Layne had a cat I was so scared to find out what happened to her. Knowing how long it took anyone to find his body. So glad she survived and found a good home.

great videos and work man! found you're channel earlier this week and have been bingeing them since, really like how you don't just stick to one time period and make videos about the 60s 70s and the 90s the variety is very cool.

May Layne and Demri rest in peace together forever 🙏 ✌️

Mike Starr saw Layne the last time he died that day and nobody checked on him for 2 weeks

Rip Layne🕊️
