Fizhy: “I will probably be done with Red Dead videos for a while”

Man, I remember being in high school and this game coming out. I talked to my mom about it, how cool it was, how the world looks so unique, how if we had the money (money was tight at the time) I would love it for my birthday. A couple of days later, I came home and she just handed me the game and said "you never act up, you never beg for anything, you are responsible, you deserve this," core memory unlocked.

you know you are a goner when you meet the man with no name in rdr2 online

Ahhh Red Dead, feels like a comfort blanket.

Here are a couple of fun facts:
- You can use closed stagecoaches as boats and float on them, I've personally managed to get to the other side of the river separating blackwater from what would be RDR2's map, but there's an invisible wall there unfortunately

- You can farm the nosalida package side mission for tons of money by killing the dude you give the package to right after he gives you the 1000 dollars, the mission will just reset and make you deliver it to him again, thus you can get those 1000 dollars infinitely.

i'm pretty sure the "exploding grave" opens up because that's the grave where Seth is looting in the opening cutscene in his very first mission

I always liked the idea that the events of Red Dead Revolver happened in some capacity and have become a twisted legend to tell over a fire. Such as we see in game.
The "folklore" surrounding the events could even explain the over the top actions that do happen in that game.

Considering the grave is marked with the date of April 1st, or April Fools Day, it may have been a little easter egg of “you can pull a prank on this corpse” or something similar.

Crazy how in rdr1 you can shoot both knees and the npc crawl away but they dont do that in rdr2

The manimals glitch was such a fun one lmao playing this in 2011 and seeing a chap in a suit suddenly flap his arms and fly was a surreal experience

I think, though I am hardly an authority on the matter, that Red Dead Revolver only exists within the Red Dead Redemption continuity to the extent it is a legend that is told but was either made up or an exaggerated story. It is even mentioned at a camp fire in such a manner. Playing as Red Harlow in Online may be a bit of fun bringing a legend to life as it were, or someone pretending to be him. Either way, I don't think the first games online is canon anyway.

If it's truly a reference to George Harrison and his guitar, 1968 would make sense as it was the year the song "while my guitar gently weeps" was released, but that might be a bit of a stretch.

I've played Red Dead Redemption Lord knows how many times, thought I knew it inside out; then along comes Fizhy... 👌

The grave explodes because when you meet Seth he is rummaging through that particular grave.

You know is a good day when Fizhy uploaded a RDR video!

That one would be right at home in the Fable trilogy graveyards. 😂

I think the grave is where we first meet “ the grave robber” where the grave was open during 1st interaction

@Q-Man-9137. 9 months ago

Isn’t that the grave Seth is in when you meet him

@TheTomsdrc 11 months ago

With the cannibals thing, I dont think its directly a reference to a hill have eyes. As I know that there were instances of cannibalisms in the Old West that occurred there.
