I'm telling you, people behind Emesis should be hired at Valve and immidiately start work on the official TF2 TV Series

I love how everyone who watched this unanimously agrees that Emesis Blue is a masterpiece.

Oh, and another neat fact: The pyro mask first seen at 13:17 was custom made for this project, but the team put it on the TF2 workshop, should it get voted for enough and accepted by valve, it could actually be added to the game under the name "Stone-faced Killer"

Fun fact The names of the BLU and RED are actually abreviaturies of the companies for each team works BLU stand for Bluilders League United and RED stand for Relaible Excavation Demolition

Believe it or not, this film is pretty much an accurate depiction of what it's like to get auto-balanced in a match, as you can see Medic respawn from the RED respawn machine at the end of the film.

This film is filled with multiple references to other media, some of the shots are direct recreations. The Shining ones are obvious but there are also ones to Se7en, Evil Dead 2,  Falling Down, Dr Strangelove and The House That Jack Built. There are also a few video game references, the zombie Soldier turns his head exactly like the first zombie in Resident Evil 1 and the Heavy is a mixture of Mr X and Nemesis, as he says "BUILDERS LEAGUE" Like how Nemesis says "STARS"  and wears a fedora like Mr X. It also refences actual TF2 lore like the names of many of the characters. "Conagher" is Engineers last name and the Engi we see during the bar scene with Demo is ACTUAL engineer as he is referred to as "Dell" which is Engineers first name in the lore, the two crazy ones are fan made brothers and they are named Maynard and Zed which is a reference to Pulp Fiction and the gun store rapists. Finally in the documents talking about Scout his name is "Jeremy Elbertson" now Jeremy is actually Scout's name but "Elbertson" is a funny joke referring to the streamer Jerma985 as it is his last name.

I think the reason to why Medic suddenly healed after the shotgun blast by the Engineer is because Medic has ingame passive healing so he regenerates health automatically over time in the game, just an assumption

58:19 this scene has a disturbing secret:
The pyro using "burnt corpse" face from half-life 2 which was created by using real foto.

For context about Dell, Dell Conagher is the Engineer you actually play as in Team Fortress 2, The Conagher brothers were made for this movie, and are named Zed & Manyard. Possibly a reference to the characters from pulp fiction

Fun fact the tape scout picks up called M is a german film about a man who has to watch someone else in his body commit atrocities like killing kids it’s referenced through out the video that the same thing is happening to medic

Fun fact: The plague doctor mask that was seen in the video is an actual face cosmetic medic can use. it's quite a popular one for the "medic girlfriend" stereotype, but it's called the Blighted Beak. The Slaughterhouse is also a somewhat modified version of one of TF2's most popular maps to play on: 2fort. The slaughter house specifically is a modified version of the red team's base from that map.

fun fact: the head used for the "evil pyro" (the one with the white mask) is actually the corpse01.mdl head from Half Life 2, which used an edited photo of a real person's face, that was melted off with a blowtorch.

14:00 Doubt you'll see this comment, but the shot of the chess board was to signiify that Scout is surrounded (Note the Blue pawn surrounded by 4 Red pieces) and is in a losing scenario

M is an actual film made in 1931, Emesis Blue probably took YEARS to make

If you pay close attention, every phone call is just a pre recorded from a moment before (not included the police radio)

Some elements of this are actually based on official tf2 lore

39:28 "Let him Liv-"
            "Let him Bleed."

This is the second time I watched this movie, and I only just now realized that when Blue Engie draws his "gun" at 35:27, he's just drawing his power drill - he's laughing because he effectively got himself killed just to fuck with Medic. He probably feels invincible because the Respawn Machine means he'll come right back, so he doesn't care if he gets gunned down for a laugh.

It all comes full circle, where does a circle end? It's eternity in there.

"this music kinda lit doe"
Scout being tortured in the backround: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
