I'm telling you Miya, it's eternity in there...

"whenever they hit you Doc you hit twice as hard alright!"

Spy was then shot two times in the head

Red Team "Hey we couldn't have done any of this without you"

Blu Team .........."Hey Doc"

The briefcase holds a respawn core which is the device that powers the respawn machines. The side effects of the respawn machine are inspired by a Stephen King story called "the jaunt" the premise being humanity invented teleportation based on quantum entanglement but it has terrible side effects on conscious people so everyone needs to be sedated before being teleported. Phrases like "it's eternity in there" and "it's longer than you think" are direct references.

I'm so glad to actually HEAR someone make the reference to Jekyll and Hyde mid reaction.

Seriously, Emesis Blue is a cinematic masterpiece. The fact that it was made by fans with SFM is just mind-blowing

Be careful of falling further into the TF2 hole. It’s eternity in there.

Emesis Blue isn't just an amazing piece of TF2 fanwork, but it's an extremely well made as just a film of it's own. If you want more Horror TF2 stuff, I would highly recommend the 'Serverblight' series by Two Idiot Germans.

Also spoilers, don't know if anyone caught it but at the end that shot of the blood stream, you notice that those aren't red blood cells that are running through it...they're bodies. The thousands upon thousands of dead bodies of the mercenaries.

Medic said "God help me" in german.

The symbolism of Helix technologies is interesting, because DNA Strands are typically depicted as a HELX of Red and Blue.

And to answer your question about what Emesis Diazepam is...
It's a medication. What matters is the date on the REAL label, and the shelf life of that drug.

1:53:10 That was the most visceral "LET'S GO!" I've ever heard XD

I will mention some hints as someone who’s looked into this movie a lot and who has even seen the script I think I have a pretty good idea of what’s going on.
1. The briefcase is always right next to Doc every time he gets shot.
2. Look into Stephen King’s short story “The Jaunt”
3. Look into the movie “M” it’s the movie that Jeremy was watching when… yknow.

Dr. Fritz Ludwig's reaction of shock, horror, and despair was a result of several key revelations:

The grand deception: He realized he and the other mercenaries had been unknowingly drugged as part of a massive corporate conspiracy by Emesis Pharmaceuticals.

The true purpose of the drug: He understood that the medication wasn't just a simple anxiolytic but a powerful, unregulated substance designed to suppress their memories of the afterlife and the trauma of the respawn process.

His own complicity/helplessness: As the team's medic, he had been unknowingly administering this same dangerous, experimental drug to his friend the Scout (Jeremy) and likely the others, believing it was a standard, safe medication.

The inescapable cycle: The discovery made it clear that their suffering was intentionally orchestrated by the company, and they were trapped in a horrifying cycle of death, resurrection, and forced amnesia with no escape.

Ludwig's reaction encapsulated the moment the full, chilling truth of the corporation's unethical experiments and their profound manipulation of the mercenaries' lives and minds was exposed.

I like how Emisis blue suddenly became this Halloween movie

1:29:45 "And I'm giving you exactly what you deserve." That is still one of the hardest lines in the history of cinema, this movie is so good

A thing that I haven't seen anyone else bring up is the recurring "M." It's actually a direct reference to the 1931 German film of the same name. In fact, that was the very movie that Scout brought back to his house and began watching (The live action bits on the TV). This wasn't an accident. Remember how there was the M splatter-painted on the wall of Scout's apartment? Well, not only did it stand for "M" for "Medic", in the film, it was also "M" for "Mörder", or "Murderer". See also the recurring riff of "In the Hall of the Mountain King" (Some may recognize it as the Inspector Gadget riff); the murderer in M also whistles that same tune (And, in fact, does so in the scene Scout watches). In particular is the monologue the murderer gives at the end of the film, and how it relates to Fritz's mentality. To summarize the plot, the serial killer is caught by other criminals (Who were having their own criminal activities interrupted by the police being on higher alert, on account of there being a serial killer on the loose) and he is being held "Trial".

"What right have you to speak? Criminals! Perhaps you are even proud of yourselves! Proud of being able to crack into safes, or climb into buildings or cheat at cards. All of which, it seems to me, you could just as easily give up, if you had learned something useful, or if you had jobs, or if you were not such lazy pigs. I can not help myself! I have no control over this evil thing that is inside me—the fire, the voices, the torment!" (source: M (1931 film) on Wikipedia)

What do we know about Fritz? He clearly has some kind of dissociative disorder and may have been responsible for the murder of Scout's mom and the kidnapping of Scout himself. He also is clearly unaware of having done those things, see his surprised reaction to Scout clocking him in the face, and your bringing up of the Jekyll and Hyde dynamic at play. So, like the killer, he's compulsed to commit these acts. And where is one of the last scenes? He's being accused (Maybe rightfully so) of murder, torture, and kidnapping, by a man that clearly made a conscious decision to do everything he did (Murder of political prisoners through bargaining, murder of his former employer due to justified and explained slights, etc).

Bear in mind, this is all info I either got from someone else or pulled directly out of thin air. I'm hardly a film scholar myself.

So to clarify the ending scene with a fire indicates that the medic friz has respawned inside the burnt respawn machine.

The thing in the brief case is a Respawn Core, which powers the machine, his proximity too it when he first got shot, by the shotgun, is how he came back to life, second is the coffin, third is him respawning in the burning slaughterhouse, because the respawn core was connected too that respawn machine

This will probably be the most biggest thing ever made for TF2. No other fandom i have seen has made a fan film. Up to this quality :^

Okay so the average for IQ is 100. An IQ of 48 is... like, depressingly low.

"Longer than you think"
It either means that whatever they felt was longer than they ever thought
Or it lasted so long that even your thinking begins to die. Longer than your ability to think.
"It's eternity in there", after all.
