You should open a charge back with your credit card company, i would have gone crazy over this

Its funny how high they value the individual items when you buy them, but how low the value suddenly gets when you want to return them!! 🤔 I'm certain that if you wanted to buy a pallet of just the books, they'd value them a lot more than 30p each! 😂

poor you guys,it’s disappointing to see you hard workers being scammed and then given the run around. Stay above these setbacks.

Wow, that's seriously awful! They only care about profit. I don't work in their industry but I do work in a company where I have to deal with the occasional customer complaints. My boss's philosophy is "it's okay if we make mistakes, it's how we deal with the mistake that matters" in this situation, I know we'd be taking this mess on the chin. We'd be offering free collection of the rejected items if we really wanted them back, but realistically we'd let the customer keep the reject items if they wanted them to cut down costs for everyone and negotiate a refund price they'd be happy with. If an employee messed up the customer service this bad, that person would be in serious trouble and customer heavily compensated. But in our company we'd never let that situation escalate like that. Crazy crazy crazy behaviour from them

A lot of managers seem to take a week holiday every 5 or 6 weeks. Even if you go by the base price of £750, that's still nearly £3 an item and if they're valuing things individually, those prices should be on the invoice. They're full of it

Jeezzz what a let down for you both 😔.... hope you get it sorted and make a profit

Well done calling out bad customer service. Charlatans like Paddys will promise the earth and then forget about you the moment you are off the phone. Saying items are worth less than you paid for them and then offering that as a refund is a joke. Can you imagine taking back a toy to Smyths that you paid £50 for and clearly broken inside a sealed box and they say "we think it's worth £1.50, do you want that back on your card?" They'd be shut down due to the consumer rights act.
I'm assuming these corrupt scammers are not regulated by Trading standards or any governing body.

So sorry you had to go through that ordeal guys

Sorry to see your disappointment with that bundle guys. I'm a reseller myself, mainly vintage toys, but a little of all kinds as well. I bought a box of vintage clothing from best vintage. Clothing was ripped to shreds, vintage denims. I expected some scuffs and rips but this was off the scale. They weren't too helpful when I complained. Thanks for heads up on paddy's pallets. I've been thinking of looking for toy pallets so I'm going to avoid paddy's. Thanks for taking the time to give the heads up. Hope it all works out for you though.

I would contact parent company pdf every correspondence and if you never accepted their payment all that would show and maybe get a quicker and better response i understand the books being low balled but its always a gamble with pallets unless there's a guarantee that these items are x price which unfortunately rarely happens now but its maybe worth a try take care good luck
