I can’t speak for all these brands but sundown is definitely not cheap their higher end stuff is actually quite expensive and some of the best on the market

I have the, Dayton Audio Ultimax 15 inch 2x2 ohm, in my Home Theater loaded with, XTC, SA-1 amp 1040watts, sealed enclosure and it digs deep, very deep, the box is about 100 liters, 70% damp I just love it!

Sundown shouldn't be on this list AT ALL. They are possibly the most popular brand in car audio for bass. And yes shops do have it, hell they have a list of certified shops right on their webpage, many of which keep certain models in stock. When you are wrong about one item this badly, no one can trust what you say about the rest.

Tantric is sick too but you can't get em any more.. I have a HD 1500 RMS, and installed and played with a couple others, the nastiest was 2 hdd 2500RMS each, and we were using a sundown amp to put about 8k on em in burps and they took it lol.

I think Dayton might be my favorite line on this list. To be clear, I am not talking about 1 sub . I think Cerwin Vega could have made this list. They make some beastly subs. Great vid, a lot of great info.

Also, stereo integrity sells an 18" sub for $1400. Hardly the price of a 12"

I can personally speak on Sundown Audio…I own quite a few of their subwoofers including the SA series and also X and Z series which are much more expensive and also several of the sundown amps..I know the owner Jacob personally and live a few minutes away from the company where they’re made and I can say that the subwoofers are in a league of their own..I’ve been in the car audio game since the 90’s and have had many different setups and equipment but sundown is by far the loudest and hardest hitting subwoofers I’ve ever owned
