I have Skar SVR-12s subs in a ported box and the RP-1500 for the 12s and the RP-150.4AB for the 6 inch Skar mids and highs. I have had no problems with the Amps or the Speakers. I can play it as loud as I want or just barely on as my wife likes it. They are a great value for the price. And they put out the power plus what it says it does.
Buy Skarbage and its just older Sundown models and series subwoofers and amplifiers, and like most other companies they just get say 1800w amplifiers and market and advertise them as 1500w amplifiers, some dude dynos them, they do more than 1500w, and everyone loses their shit, OMG!!! The amp is underrated! Best amplifier on ERRFF! Now I'm not saying that makes a brand good or bad, just saying its marketing tricks, they all do it, you really think a manufacturer doesnt know the amplifier makes more power than advertised? Also be careful when watching these dyno vids and think you will actually get that power out of the amplifier in your car, look at the voltage along with those power ratings, if it dynos at 1876w at 14.7v or 15v or whatever you aren't going to get that in your car. Its pretty tuff to hold that high of voltage without any kind of dip in the voltage, of course you might make that voltage just at idle, and as long you aren't dipping below 12v you are ok, but that rating at 14.8v or whatever ridiculously high voltage they ran the amp at to get that wattage isnt going to be that much at 13.2 or 12.8 or whatever you dip to. But as long as you are above 12v you won't damage your equipment. There are tons and tons of other brands that use the same amp boards from the same Chinese factory, I just tell guys get whats on sale and has a better warranty, no reason to spend $100 more on an amp that uses the same board but just a different heat sink. In fact alot of those weird name amps on Amazon and even Temu are the same amps as alot of the 'name brand' amps that guys overpay for and then try to clown you about your goofy named amps, not knowing its the same damn amp and he is the clown that paid thousands more for his equipment that is exactly the same except for the brand name printed on it.
PS- I REALLY like CT Sounds, great equipment, yes cheaper stuff out there that may potentially be the same but they have great customer service and if you knew the story about the guys brother picking up the peices of the company and running it along with his family after his brother that started the company died suddenly you would look at the company a little different and want to give them your business also
I like Skar subwoofers I own a dual 8inch Skar 1400wats subwoofer the only thing I don't like is the Skar 800watts amplifier it only has low pass filter no highs otherwise it's stays pretty cool amplifier never really get hots
Thinkin skar numbers and ratings are legit is comical. They copy and paste specs from the company in china that designs, builds, assembles and rebrands their products to have skar logo on it. Jaishan Future Sound Co. And skar just buys it cheap in bulk and marks it up 200%. Nothing about skar is legit and quality. Even their wire is chinese wire with incorrect gauge sizing.
