One of those scouts was in my brother's class.  That scout leader lady was probably relieved when the person on the other end of the phone saying a former scout got in touch was Cilla and not a police officer.  It would be funny if the pen friend came in and was actually an old man pretending to be a young lady.

What a weird opener -- Dale coming on with a trolley of Tetley and Andrex :D

The trolley one is nuts!!

I wonder where the three kids are now? To play like that at such a young age is phenomenal!

The Bee Gees fan mentioned that Barry had to cancel his concert in Mexico at the time due to heart problems. A condition which would later kill his brothers Maurice, in 2003 and Robin in 2012. It's heartbreaking to watch footage of them performing as a group now knowing that two thirds of the group are no longer with us.

I saw our Cilla in her red suit jacket when she's in Ireland to surprise everyone in that place. It reminds me of the intro in Season 13, 14 and the rest of specials.

Newbridge is in county killdare about an hour from Dublin . Never knew Cilla did Irish surprises !

Hello TV Gold...
