I don’t care what David Jason performs in. I absolutely adore him!

The British have such superior writing and acting.  These shows are wonderful.  Thank you.

I remember this happened to my husband and I 40 years ago. I prayed to God that if he got us through this situation, I would work really hard , pay off the mortgage and I would never buy anything on debt. Within three years we were debt-free, and when we both had jobs, we only lived off one salary, which was mine. We put everything away from my husband into a stock market, etc. now that I am retired and seeing this movie brings back memories and how God got us through some of the toughest times in our lives.

A beautiful film. I wonder how many people watching it thought "I wish I'd had a Dad like that".

What an absolute treasure this film is! This channel  is fast becoming the place I go when I want quality, depth, and brilliant acting.
So impressed. Thank you!

This is what happens when your ego is
bigger than your bank balance everyone
around you ends up paying the price.

Aww he plays a good Grandad, makes me miss my Grandad

The magic of David Jason, he'll always be Frost to me but he is a true English treasure whatever part he plays. Thank you so much for the opportunity to watch this classic. ♥

Brits know how to turn films into something special just by being authentic! Great touching story! ❤

18:45 “the best thing you can give your kids, is yourself.” Never a truer word has been spoken. Parents can give as much time as possible to make their kids thrive. Even then, they will have troubles and issues in life, but at least you know as a parent, that you did your best.

David Jason never fails.

David Jason in anything always makes me feel that all is OK with the world! 😊

OMG I just adore these type of movies, the Brits do it best.❤ watching from Australia

Mr David Jason. A National Treasure, true Gent.

I had a dad like that ….💔

I would NEVER expect some one to put their house in jeporady for a possible business deal.

The things we do for our children.

I wish there was a part two.

Fantastic scene at 1hr 15m where he talks about his Dad being happy with his lot.   Never a truer word said.   I go by the words my Dad told me that you don't need money to be rich..health, family and happiness mean so much more.

Alison Steadman such a good actress and perfect partner for the amazing David Jason. True gritty English film.
