Fire Emblem Fortune Weave Complete Story explained is coming in about a week from now. 😁

Here's some references of Historical events of Fodlan, dated (Imperial Calendar, not Dagdan), to serve as reference when playing Fortune's Weave, to know when it takes place (both continents use different Calendars, since the Fodlanese calendar switched to Imperial along with the creation of the Empire):

- Some unknown time before everything: Sothis (aka "The Beginning) comes down from space and creates Nabateans (dragon people). they share technology with humans (agarthans), but they eventually clash, and Sothis floods the world, eradicating most of the Agarthans, with some survivors retreating to Shambhala underground, they'll become Those Who Slither In the Dark (TWSITD). After that, Sothis creates a new humanity, and retires underground to regenerate. Nabateans settle nearby, at Zanado. However, TWSITD are plotting in the Dark and make it so Nemesis infiltrates the place Sothis resides in and kills her. They use her corpse to create the Sword of the Creator, and her blood to give Nemesis the Crest of Flames needed to use it. With the sword, Nemesis raids Zanado and massacres Nabateans, which is why it is later known as the Red Canyon. Same thing with the place Sothis was resting and was killed, later known as the Holy Tomb. The Corpses of the Nabateans killed is used to create more Relics powered by Crest Stones, and give more Crests to people (btw, there are multiple types of dragon, so for instance Seteth is an Earth dragon, he has a Crest Stone with an Earth Dragon sign in his body, and if he gifted his blood to someone, they'd gain a crest of Cichol (named like this after him, later on), and if his corpse was used to make a relic, it would be aligned with the Earth Dragon/Cichol crest, but he was not the sole Earth dragon, it's more of a "type").

- 41 Years before the creation of the Empire: Seiros / The Immaculate One (Rhea) appears in Enbarr, a city that was already 120 to 220 years old, and founds the Church of Seiros. it is in one of those Churches that The Hammer of Judgement (also known as Seteth or, at the time, Cichol) will meet his wife and have a daughter, The Benevolent One (or Cethleann / Flayn), who will partake in the war of heroes in the century to come)

- Year 1: Wilhelm Paul Hresvelg, leader of Enbarr, founds the Empire of Adrestia. The name Adrestia was gifted by an oracle.

- Year 32: The War of Heroes begins (it doesn't have that name yet). Wilhelm and the Empire along with Seiros, against Nemesis, The King of Liberation, his 11 Elites, and his own forces, backed by TWSITD.

- Year 46: the Empire wins the Battle of Gronder, which pushes the frontline to the land of Leicester. Later on, in a battle in that region, the Elite Maurice will overuse his Relic Weapon and turns into a demonic beast, which still roams Edmund Territory to this day (but he already had children and passed his crest that way)

- In 91: Battle of Tailtean. You know it, that's the one we see in the intro of both 3 Houses and 3 Hopes. Seiros Kills Nemesis (but also Epimenides from 3 Hopes) and takes back the Sword of the Creator, which she keeps hidden in the "tomb of Seiros", in the Holy tomb. She will also remove the crest stone and use it, trying to bring her mother Sothis back. Keep an eye on this, as it seems like Sitri was her 12th experiment, and her child Byleth the 13th, since they are the 12th and 13th demons in the order of the lemegeton, so we could see a character named Baal, Agares, Vasago, Gamigin, Barbas, Valefar, Amon, Barbatos, Paimon, Buer, or Gusion, (or any variant) and they'd definitely be Seiros / Rhea trying to resurrect Sothis. Anyways, around that time, Wilhelm I abdicates in favor of his son, Lycaon I, but keeps fighting in the war. (there are chances that Lycaon's mom was Seiros herself, but nothing is confirmed)

- Lycaon I dies in 98 from an illness, and this event marks the official end of the war. Seiros doctors history and that's when it's named the War of Heroes, where she makes up History in order to both gain power but also appeal to the numerous supporters of Nemesis, and when Maurice was erased from History, putting the 11 Elites down to just 10. That year, she orders the construction of the Garreg Mach Monastery, above the Holy Tomb. During the war, near its end, Flayn's mom died, and Flayn herself fell in a form of coma that likely lasted over 1000 years.

(Dietrich talks about the War of Heroes, so FW is definitely set after)

- Year 185 of the Imperial Calendar: The Construction of the Garreg Mach Monastery is over. Seiros immediately assembles her 4 apostles and tries the Rite of Rising from the DLC to try to bring her mom, again, but it fails and the 4 saints split. Aubin went underground, likely in Abyss, and would live an extremelu long life while cursing his blood until he one day ends up in Faerghus, where he is taken in by a prostitute, and saves her son, Yuri by giving him his blood. He died a few years after that. Timotheos would found a village named after him in a Forest. Noa would eventually found House Nuvelle. and Chevalier would found a village named Kupala in the Edmund territory. That village would eventually be attacked, but an elder woman, likely a descendant of Chevalier, gave a red liquid (likely her blood) to people to heal them. Some were healed and gained a crest, some "changed, and not for the best" (probably turned into demonic beasts). We have no idea of when that was, but at some point TWSITD target the monastery with a missile attack, but Seiros repels the attack, with the missiles instead landing in Ailell, a forester area that turned into a massive pool of lava afterwards.

- BIG JUMP to 721: First Mach War: an Army of Dagda invades Mach, a territory in Adrestia. They are driven off.

- 728: The Empire invades Brighid in retaliation, since they were allied with Dagda. The Empire Wins.

- 731: The Empire tries to invade Dagda, coming from Brighid, but fails.

Hey, this was awesome. Thank you so much for the vid! This is def a preferred style to catch up on games I haven’t had the opportunity to play.

I really wish each route had at least a tiny bit more info on each of the other routes you could take at the time. I understand the concept "history is told by the victors", but it is a little frustrating to be shown so little of each route, mostly Claude's and Rhea, unless you play strictly for them. I played through Blue Lion's because of Felix and while I loved that side of the story, Claude leaving out of nowhere and Rhea just being a background memory was really frustrating. Not to mention all of the "real villains" are not mentioned AT ALL in this route after you gain your light green hair qq LIKE WHERE DID THEY GOOOOOO. Anyways tysm for this video it really helps me prep for the next game - where I hope to have more time to choose more stories.

Wow, this was fantastic!! It's been years since I played FE3H, and this is exactly what I needed to help prep for Fortune's Weave. Thanks so much for making this! 💜

Thanks for this recap it was really good. Forgot almost everything haha

Thank you for making this video! I had beaten the Blue Lions route but wanted to know all the mysteries of the game without replaying it 3+ times. Your video is very succinct and covers everything really well, you helped me out a lot! (Those long wikis can be tough reads)

when a series its too long History wise and with many secuels...it can get a bit scarier to jump into... videos like this helps a lot .. Loved the intro PST congrats

I'm so glad I played Claude's route during my first playthrough. It's kind of wild how much lore you miss out on in the other routes.

This video was so good?? I only played one route and have the worst memory so with this I can go into Fortune's Weave in a good place. Thanks so much and take my hype!

this is amazing, thankyou for doing what you do!

Ty!!

Story is quite complicated, good to know it clear with this video.

Blue Lions forever!
I've played all 4 routes multiple times, but my love for the kingdom has never wavered. Maybe that's why I don't like to play Edelgard's route.

Too bad the Ashen Wolves are not included here, at least not until the point I'm right now.
