My recipe derived or inspired and one that fits a 16oz mason jar:
3/4 cup white vinegar 172g
1/2 cup water 115g
1/2-1 red onion, sliced thick
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp white sugar
2 cloves of garlic
1 bay leaf
peppercorns
