Question of the video: What's your favorite game in the Shantae series?

I can't figure out if Rotty is friends with Shantae, is in love with Shantae or wants to eat Shantae. Probably a little of each.

"Shantae doesn't own a bath tub and that's kinda gross."
Showers exist. Also, the fact the game series has bath houses implies that bathing is for relaxation, not cleaning, just like how it commonly is the case in east asia, for example.

Lets be real, we all know the TRUE reason why shantae has no flaws

Risky's Revenge was so short due to DSi Shop file size limits. It was going to be multiple parts because of that, but the later parts ended up being cancelled once the 3DS came around and they could make Pirate's Curse.

She's the living proof that a strong plot can save any series

Cant believe you  discussed the entire series without once mentioning Shantae's attractiveness. Very tasteful

0:18 I remember back in 2001 I saw Shantae on a Nintendo Power magazine, and I wanted that game so badly, but unfortunately it was one of those rare games that you hardly ever see in Wal-Mart.

In seven sirens. Not only is it animated by studio trigger. But they brought back the voice cast of shantae half genie hero and some new actors. With the exception of bolo who was originally voiced by Nathan sharp.

Shantae, harmony and risky boots are voiced by Cristina vee.

Sky is voiced by Karen Strassman.

Plink is voiced by Kayli Mills.

Vera is voiced by Laura Megan Stahl.

Zapple is voiced by Erika Ishii.

Uncle mimic is voiced by Xander Mobus.

Bolo is voiced by Ross O'Donovan.

Rottytops is voiced by Cherami Leigh.

Empress siren is voiced by Mela Lee.

The cast is stacked with seasoned anime voice actors and actresses.

Friends to the end takes place in shantae's head and the music is all remixes of the main theme and I love that because it means that shantae is self obsessed

Fun fact: for tanline island the YouTubers i watched who played it 10 years ago had to put up a for mature audiences Disclaimer before starting the video because of the outfits that they wear.

(The YouTubers i watched were called The KwingsLetsPlays.)

The problem starting with Pirate's Curse first is that it falls kinda flat that Risky is helping you after being the villain in the previous games, because you don't have any understanding of the previous dynamic and the current inversion.

IIRC, Riski's Revenge was going to be part 1 of a trilogy of smaller games for the DSi store. I think they changed plans halfway through, and The Pirate's course was made as a way to conclude that storyline.

Favorite is still Pirate's Curse, but Seven Sirens is a very close second for me.

I think Pirate's curse is number 1, but oddly my 2nd favorite game is the og Shantae game. Follow by Seven Sirens, HGH and RR at last place.

I've been casually playing half genie hero for a while, all the different modes. It is repetitive, but I wish more games would do this too.

35:43 I like the detail of the box stretching a bit when she got up

11:10 - I could tell you why; the game is a DSiWare title, so it was limited on space. It sounds like Wayforward prioritized high-quality content over putting filler to pad it out.

Who wants Shantae to be in Smash Bros.?

the thumbnail looks like shantae and Rotty tops are going to kiss.
