“Forever physical”! Well, “forever” being a few months at most.

I wish they would just go back to fan gamer because there’s so much better and they’re actually easier to contact unlike limited run. If you have a problem, they’ll probably never respond, which is one of the main reasons why I hate to limited run.

Dude, not only did the GBA rom leak, I'm pretty sure people on the Shantae and Limited Run (either one) subreddits shared it! Even I knew the moment they said that they were releasing it first on GBA that it was gonna get cracked and released day one.

Yeah I've heard some questionable stuff about limited run

Yeah, i've never really heard a game like this happening until Shantae advance Risky Revolution.

I’ve played Shantae Advance via a Rom dumped from a friend on Discord. But yeah, Shantae Advance did not have a specific release date and Limited Run is to blame for nearly fucking up WayForward’s greatest dream.

Hey, that gets me thinking. I would like to work with a modder on doing a “Director’s Cut” of Shantae Advance that fixes every flaw with it, make it feel like it came out in 2006, bringing back those old indie vibes from like the 2010s and such.

Shantae Advance coming out on GBA first is like the first part of Seven Sirens all over again on Apple Arcade..

I'm aware how WayForward did not cut ties with Limited Run yet given all the troubles that company has caused over the years.

I was so unaware about Limited Run having some issues when I first saw some collectables on the website when I want to get it. However, I didn't expect it to take over a year to get the product delivered and it was a real kill joy. It's like the Spongebob episode where Spongebob is waiting by his mailbox for a a toy going "I'm waiting, I'm waiting, I'm waiting." expect WAY WAY longer.

Dude, either stop shouting or level your audio.

A friend of mine did the character art for Pop Slinger. He told me one day that the developer tried to find someone to publish a physical release on the game on Switch, but Limited Run Games turned it down because "they couldn't make money off of it." I told him they were better off being rejected by Limited Run. They did eventually find something else to publish the physical release and that's good for them.

7:13 sounds like Emperor Pilaf from OG Dragon Ball

0:39 wait what?

7:14 most of the additional voices in Sonic Boom were the 6 leads playing multiple roles. Roger and Mike I think play most of the townies.

Great video as always!!

01:15 I know one its Good boy galaxy its a indie game and a GBA homebrew it's also a Metroidvania with expressive sprites and really good music its theme is scifi like Metroid I recommend you checking it out a LOT of people worked on it and goes unnoticed🙁

I have every shantae game digitally on switch and steam and have all the old shantae games on 3ds as well.

As much as I want to support the franchise through physical release I don't think I will ever purchase anything from limited run after the statue incident. My brothers all pulled together to get me the 20th anniversary statue for my 24th birthday back in 2022 & we were left in complete radio silence for over a year regarding said statue's whereabouts. To the point where one of my brothers genuinely believed for a time that Limited Run laundered their money. While I'm glad I finally got the statue, I really wished they bothered to update us on what the hell was going on as opposed to leaving us in the dark for 18 months.

Limited Run Games ruined another launch release again.

I'll watch the video through, but good god, please find a way to balance out your voice audio, you are peaking to the heavens with your current setup, if i'd listen with my headphones on it would surely hurt my eardrums.

Why does it feel like his mic audio is clipping?
