"this is not what I fell in love with, this is not the art" This is all that needs to be said and thousands and thousands of us feel this way.

Much respect to you man for speaking up behind you 100 %

Finally someone came out and kept it 💯

MDJ, I stopped watching professional fishing about a year ago, before that I followed your fishing a lot and several others. This video of yours promotes good will for the entire industry. I think you really nailed it with a big hammer. I'm not new to fishing, I've been at this before you were born I'm sure. I'm blessed to fish as much as I can and I have seen what FFS has done to us ALL. I do not own FFS, but I also don't fish tournaments anymore either. I fish to enjoy the outdoors even if the boat next to me kicks my butt. I don't have anything to prove, we still do pretty good based on knowledge alone, something that is RARE today. Anyways...great video, makes me want to follow along with you again. SUPER VIDEO 👍👍👍

Respect man for standing on business and not worrying about what others think. Hard to find people like you now a days

Side note: I stopped following bass fishing long ago for a few reasons, but livescope in tournaments was the final nail in the coffin for me. I just subbed to your channel because of this video LOL. Mad props brotha. Other side note: I guide musky trips out of kayaks - wait for it - with ZERO ELECTRONICS. Literally nothing. Just the yak, the paddle, a rod, and time on the water casting for that next bite! It's a rush. I'm old school, and maybe a little stubborn hahahaha!

Just gained a lot of respect for having the guts to say it publicly

You have a fan for life because of this video.

1:20 “You pull up on me, I’ll make you a thumbnail” one helluva bar 💀

1000% respect for speaking up and dropping real facts!!!

I could never hate a MDJ video ! Let’s go mark ‼️‼️💪🏾💪🏾

A lot of us can't afford it either, which makes tough to compete at lower levels...weekends.

MDJ speaking straight truth. Sooooo much respect for you man.

You the man Mark. This needed to be said for a long time now

TRUTH as MDJ see"s it and its REAL AS IT GETS !! THANKS BRO !

I agree 100 %, behind you all the way, love the honesty!!!

This has been the best clarification and explanation of why FFS is NOT “bass fishing”

Thank you for standing up and making your voice heard. The vast majority of anglers agree with you!

Compelling to hear from an angler at the top. Really enjoyed hearing the honesty and opened my eyes a bit to some of the behind the scenes as well putting into perspective the changes that have occurred since ffs. Thanks for taking a chance here MDJ - you’ve actually made me think about it as opposed to just being discussed with the constant whining about ffs

I Applaud You for speaking up, hoping others follow suit.

Proud of you Mark Daniels jr.!
