Hita Kaido connects Hakata to Hita. It was an important route with a lot of traffic between Hita, which once flourished as a "tenryo" (imperial domain). Today, national highways and expressways have been built, and the old road is hardly used at all. I took a leisurely motorcycle trip, visiting the famous sites, to see what it is like now, and I would like to share my experience with you.

昭和の時代は二日市の中央通りは物凄く栄えていました。
江島屋、ジャスコが並んで武石百貨店もありました。
今は車社会で、イオンやゆめタウンですねぇ。
筑後川沿いは何度も通っていますが、水神社の仕組みを始めて知りました。
今度改めて見てみます。
ちなみに私も暴れん坊ライダーです😅街道ツーリングやってみたいです。
思わず、お疲れ様でした^ ^と
言葉が出ました。
大分の慈恩の滝が大好きで、
水害がある前は毎月足を運んでましたが、
日田はいつも素通り…というか、反対側の２１０号線を通って、滝に向かってました。。
機会が有れば、豆田町や、日田街道ゆかりの場所にも足を運びたいと思います。
あっという間の37分でした。

恵蘇ノ宿も関所があり、宿場町があったかと思います。
恵蘇ノ宿は7世紀後半あたりの歴史で有名です。
姿に爆笑!! 薩摩街道でも道端から出っ張って寝ている猫さんがいま
したね。旧街道は車の往来が少ないし、スピードも出してないので
住んでいる人も猫もゆったりとした時間軸で暮らしているのでしょ
う。樟の大木がいい風情を醸し出している街道でした。配信、あり
がとうございました。
和歌山に「かるかや餅」っていうお菓子があると聞いたことがあって。
この動画この前久しぶりに見て、あれ？かるかやって餅と同じだ、へぇかるかやって関所のことか〜と勘違いしてました😅
いま調べたらここの地名で、昔の苅萱の領主がはるばる高野山に出家されたとか。
他の動画で知った事が繫がって面白いな🙄
…で、なんで餅の名前になったのかは謎ですが（笑）
