An appropriate day for mention of the jolene cover. Rest in peace Queen Dolly. If I had to hear the sad news, I'm glad it was from Monte this morning

You guys brought up Dolly Parton and Tim Curry in the same video. The day they died. That's actually kinda spooky. Love the show!! <3

2 and a half hours?!? We are being fed!! ❤

I am a below the knee amputee and I have my own ashes. It is kinda wild. 😂
But I told my childhood best friend that once I die, to keep a bit of the ashes out of my casket. And then after I am buried and all is said and done, to sprinkle the ashes over the ground of my grave. That way I will FINALLY have a leg up on the world. 🤣😂🤣😂

Princess Bride ...one of the most quotable movies of all time!! Love you guys!

1:17:21 I DID!!!!! I found the original owner and spoke with her!! She would not give an interview but she told me that the Warrens and Hollywood made most of it up!! Their real names were Marguerite Tata, Annelee Goetz and Anthony Rossi. I did interview Jill Amadio who wrote the very first article on Annabelle and interviewed the nurses with the Warrens.

I met Lorraine Warren. She used to hold evenings at her home and show their haunted, possessed items in a small museum. We also visited Ed's grave then rounded out the evening with dinner at a local restaurant. It was a really nice evening.

48:40 right before Ed went off to active duty he was in the newspaper in 1944 in an article about a soldier named Warren Miney with Ed’s address linked to that name, stating Warren (Ed) robbed and assaulted another boy leaving the boy needing staples to close his head wound. I cannot find a follow up to this story so my guess is the Navy took care of it. I am also happy to share this article with you!

BRO MY GIRL RAGGEDY ANN DOESN'T DESERVE THIS

I was in college when the Warrens were doing their college tours, and I do remember one of their visits.  This would have been about 1977 or 1978, I believe.  They would do a lecture, then Lorraine would walk some of the buildings on campus which were supposed to be haunted.  I attended one of the lectures with some other girls from my dorm.  This was after their investigation at Amityville, because that was the subject of their lecture.  One of the girls in my group happened to be from the Amityville area and flat out challenged the Warrens on some factual issues, for example a bar they mentioned Ronald DeFeo, Jr. frequenting didn't actually exist.  I did not go on the walk of the college buildings -- a dormitory, the auditorium and the science building -- but in discussing the walk later with those who did attend, I learned that Lorraine didn't bring up any new information.  She only confirmed and elaborated a bit on the stories common throughout the campus.  I never thought highly of the Warrens after that lecture, feeling that they tended toward drama and worst case scenarios.  Everything they investigated seemed to involve demons and/or curses, which I blame on Ed's deep interest (for lack of a better word) in the topic.

"Hi, my name is Jeff" this quote lives in my head😂 It is from the movie 21 Jump Street. Channing Tatum is trying to do an accent.

I really enjoy the overlaping timelines of previous episodes and new ones. I fully understand the Ouijia board timeline and the fact it plays into the Warrens timeline makes to much since. Love you guys ❤

Thank you for a delightful tour through the world of the Warrens. Love how your research brings a fresh take on stories we all thought we knew.

I would love to see you do an episode on Elizabeth Bathory!

42:44 I have the census record for Ed's father's job listing! Ed claims his father was both a police officer and a state trooper. As I've joked before, Super Troopers taught us those two are not the same! lol the reality of the matter is, Ed Warren's father is listed as a GAURD at a City Jail, not a policeman or a state trooper. He was also listed before that as a "prise fighter" and I'm guessing that was a typo for "prize". I would be happy to send you both this census record if you like!

Ooooh the Punk cover of 9 to 5 by Lady Parts 😍 (everyone should give We Are Lady Parts a watch!)

I'm always so in awe of people who can just visit haunted places and visit haunted objects and find that pleasurable. The cards I was dealt with in life made me a very sensitive person who has to embrace that and also build up a tolerance to what other people have going on and not take it on. I understand that people who do not experience what I do have a different set of difficulties, just awe. The grass isn't necessarily greener

1:04:18 random fun fact I found! When Ed and Lorraine started, it was just Ed! Ed was working with other psychics in 1969 and the paper was reporting on it and how he was learning from them. Lorraine was NOT mentioned. Then suddenly, Lorraine was present and she was psychic. Actually! Around that time Ed was saying both he and Lorraine were psychic. I have way too many newspaper articles with random fun facts about the Warrens 😅

Thank you both for all of your research and passion surrounding this podcast! My husband and I love watching your stuff so much

As a kid raised in culty church, I prayed for years that I wouldnt see things.  It is unfortunate that people think it is a power.  It can be just as confusing knowing things as it is to not know things.

One lady told me to pray about the things - that is all.  That helped.  Most felt like it was the bad angels.

My grandkid could see things too.  He told me he could see monsters.  I kneeled down as I told him that I could see them too.

I told him that I would say

May Creator bless and release you with Love, return to Source all trauma resolved.

He made me repeat it two more times.

He was skipping through the garden a couple months later.  I dont see monsters anymore, Yaya!❤

Children truly bear the weight of this world on their small shoulders.  What a light he was and still is, to me.  It was such an honor to walk beside him in his short life.❤

There are so many distractions.  What is real?  The heart mind body spirit of the person next to you.  Connection
