I have such mixed feelings. This is so beautiful, but your last console table happens to still be my favourite DIY you've ever done!!

@MollyFiddler 3 years ago

It's not something I'd choose for my house, but seeing it in your living room it actually makes more sense than the previous console. I think the balance between light and dark colours, wood and organic shapes is now balanced! ✨

The way Danie is describing the designing process with all the setbacks,mistakes and last minute changes is so encouraging. As a control freak, insecure to make any mistake, her happy and honest attitude transforms my regrets into opportunities. Truly creative thinking. Inspiring and therapeutic.💙

Hello to my favorite Youtube community! Happy Saturday everyone!😁

When I first saw the piece I had mixed feelings about it. Your change from a glass shelf to wood made all the difference. Beautiful!

I love how you are always making little updates to your home. It def show that sometimes if you just change one thing you can make a room totally fresh. Jealous of whoever gets that old piece you made - chef's kiss to all your work I would def love to own something made by you,

I prefer your version, it turned-out so "warm", balanced and welcoming while keeping its uniqueness! Incredibly done !

This might be one of my favourite things you’ve ever made. It’s gorgeous

Astonishing, like a dressmaker seeing a designer dress, going home and making it, you have the skill to make a look alike !

An episode where you remake a loved thing that you think could be better would be really cool and interesting!

Do I need a side table? No. Do I have space for a side table? No. Do I now want this exact table… yes.

It doesn't seem like your usual cottage core/modern farm house vibe but I LOVE it. I think it looks so fresh and it's just beautiful with your couches.

@tamaramonster9027 3 years ago

Mixed feelings: the piece is stunning and testament to Danie’s creativity and craftsmanship to make anything herself. I just feel the other console table fitted the room, the modern farmhouse aesthetic better and tied everything together more. This piece feels so unique that it needs more space to really shine and the interior plus other furniture doesn’t really allow for that. But important to remember is that it’s your house, your life and your enjoyment so be proud of what you made and enjoy!

9:00 Saturday morning has a new meaning. You’re a wonderful way to start the weekend

I love the contrast of the wood and “stone”. And the size looks great! Thanks again for a wonderful video.

Wasn’t sure I was gonna like it but once again, you did it girlfriend. Love love love it!!!!!!

I loved the opening and if I had an award to give, you'd get it.

Designer here. The use of foam core, cardboard, and insulation foam for cheap to-scale models is an industry practice. This is 100% an excellent suggestion because people often don't realize how it will change how you feel about a form in the actual space.

@michelle_jasek 3 years ago

the way you are talking about how the first time you make something feels like the prototype, is exactly how i feel when i crochet anything! lol

Been playing June's Journey for over a year and a half and let me tell you the story does not get dull at any point! I am the same way with games, my ADHD brain gets bored super easy, but been playing June's Journey for so long now my partner is also kind of invested in the story!
