Thank you for putting Colossus on this list, it’s such an under appreciated movie and could possibly be seen as a prequel to The Terminator.

Right off the bat I can think of a couple of movies which fit this category that I am surprised that he did not mention: "Alphaville" (1965) and ""Seconds" (1966).

One of the reasons they chose the name Valley Forge for the ship in "Silent Running" was for the sake of realism, they filmed it on a mothballed carrier, the USS Valley Forge. And "Colossus: The Forbin Project" was the first of a book trilogy, and the other two books reveal why Colossus did what it did, and justifies it's actions as it was part of fulfilling it's primary purpose.

Fahrenheit 451 was reality portrayed as sci fi, I witnessed school teachers burning history books and replacing them with edited books rewriting history for their own purposes. The school had a trash burner built on the school grounds to prevent people from salvaging them.

Soylent Green is people ! And it's in most of the major fast food hamburger outlets ! Human DNA has been found in the hamburgers in most of the burger chains .

The movie alien and the TV series space above and beyond share a common theme. Both show Big Business calling the shots. In space above and beyond big business actually started the war by trying to mine a planet that's used by the aliens for their birthing. Then they lied about it. In Alien big business sacrifices a whole crew just to get their hands on one of the alien eggs. Then they tried to smuggle one back in Ripley and the girl.

How can you be so off with 2001 Space Odissey? Nothing to do with tech.

Soylent Green = Bioengineered Ingredients.

here is a point. If this was predicted in the past as our time right now how come no one said anything until now?

ALMOST IF IT WERE PLANNED like in 1962 a Democrat created a law that you cannot sue a vaccine company even if it kills you. THEN Fauci got to be head of NIHAID and created gain of function in 1992, got fired from his job by HW Bush who did not prosecute for embezzlement.

Clinton hired him back so he could perfect SARS 1 & 2 for to use on Japan's subways, then invented Covid 19 with communist chinese scientist Dr. Zhri Zengali to perfect it in aerosol form to infect Americans in nursing homes across the northwest and New York City by flying infected Chinese to Seattle and NYT to spread the disease so that democrat Joe Biden is elected to destroy America for China.
