Her voice breaking when she says, "It's finally yours!" in "FIN" gets me every time. I immediately tear up because you can see how much she worked on it, how hard, how proud and relieved she finally got it done and out there and all the emotions that brings with it. Love this album so much.

Know you will appreciate the fact that the violin in Winter woman is Vivaldi Four Seasons:Winter. Raye's music is layers upon layers. Soooo good

FYI - RAYE said in an interview that I Know You’re Hurting was actually written about mental health from a men’s perspective which I really appreciate personally. That being said it’s incredibly relatable no matter who you are!

The way "I Hate The Way I Look Today" gagged you both immediately lmao 😂 Raye is so witty and genius! Love this album.

Remember, Raye grew up in the church. Her Dad was their church’s musical director and her mother sang in the choir. This entire album has hope and faith streaming through it. Her “lifeboat” is her art, friends, family, faith and herself (with a lot of humor). It’s such a brilliant album.

Exciting news - RAYE has been cast in a new crime film called Lineage, due to start filming in August. No idea what kind of role she'll be playing but it's another sign of her rising fame ❤

Adele was spotted at Raye's LA concert last night or night before. The live version of Nightingale Lane is also amazing.

Amma and Absolutely are her sisters

Life Boat is the embodiment of crying in the club and I have no notes.

Raye and Hans had collaborated once before on 'Mother Nature' (for BBC's Planet Earth 3 series in 2023)

I feel like it's worth noting that NOT ONLY did she collaborate with THEE AL GREEN and HANS FREAKING ZIMMER, she also sampled VIVALDI in Winter Woman. the absolute mastery that she shows on this album is incredible. it's such an ambitious undertaking and she NAILED IT, nobody else could've produced a project like this!!!

Oh I’m so happy you guys finally did Raye’s new album!!!! I absolutely love this album. It was too much in the best way!! I love listening to this from beginning to end with a box of tissues because some of these songs are so devastatingly sad. Her lyricism is on another level and the sound oh my god the sound. It’s a symphonic and musical masterpiece.

A couple of things I want to share about this amazing album(for those who are wondering) :
RAYE’s choice to list every contributor on Fin is a direct rebellion against her past as an industry songwriter, where her label erased her credit and took the glory. So, she made sure every behind-the-scenes creator received the recognition she was once denied. It's part of the reason she left the label, and now she's an independent artist who's thriving and shining bright like a diamond and living her dream artist life.

In "Life Boat," she featured a final voice memo from whom I believe was her late Grandad, who passed away just before the album's release.

I went to see her in DC and it was an absolute rollercoaster! and I could talk about it forever... So sad that the US tour just ended bcs I NEED to see her again.
Also, unpopular opinion: Skin&Bones should go viral :)
