We set off to detonate the Pillar of Autumn and flee its obliteration in the tenth campaign mission for Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary.

Left with only one purpose, The Pillar of Autumn rests upon a desert plateau, damaged yet intact. Given the stakes, destroying this vessel is the only option to preserve life across the galaxy. Finish the campaign in style through an epic Warthog run spanning down the ship's dorsal structure before escaping the ring in a Longsword. Halo, it's finished, but we're just getting started.

Perhaps the most thorough clearing of Flood and Sentinels in The Maw I've ever seen. Great video, great performance, and great series! I look forward to seeing more from you on YT, brother.

just finished going through the entire Halo: CE campaign on Legendary and honestly I don't think I could've done it without your walkthrough. The tips and tricks throughout each chapter were extremely helpful for getting me through it. I appreciate you making these videos so much! I left a like on all the videos :)

Great walkthrough and guide through tough enconters! You definitely deserve more subs. Me personally love that you're so calm and reserved. And your commentary is useful and on point.

I craved a legendary playthrough in CE, but my hands cant really handle controllers or prolonged gaming due to arthritis for the time being, so thank you for this! Very informative and helpful guide without yapping, quite a few tricks I werent aware of, and a calming voice to boot. Great job, subbed!

An excellent run on such an iconic game. Like you, Halo CE is definitely my favorite game in the entire Halo series. For a game made in 2001, the sheer varieties of enemies and vehicles one can encounter, the excellent story and the musical scores, just makes Halo CE my favorite in my childhood.

At 28:24, you talk about the Sentinels and hiding from them in the side door until they detonate. I've got great news for you! They ALSO detonate when you go down the middle grating in-between the engine areas. Therefore, the optimal speedy/safe strat is probably to take out one engine, then go through the middle area over to the other section, take another one out over there, then back through the middle to take out the third, then finally back through the middle to take out the fourth. Every time you go to the other room, the Sentinels detonate just as if you went into the side room. I figured this out only recently, and will eventually post it (obviously, The Maw may be the last run I post, being at the end of the game and all).

Couple of comments. Don't let the success of starting the reactor detonation sequence and Cortana urging you to get out dodge cloud your judgement. I did, oops. BTW, lobbing grenades into the exhaust coupling does work. If the rocket launcher is empty, or nearly empty, swap it for a discarded weapon, Convenant Plasma Rifle or better. And stock up on grenades. I nearly got stuck between a checkpoint and having the Elite and his Grunt squad on the elevator to the Warthog garage kill the M-C every time. And it's okay to not listen to Cortana to stop and watch Foehammer splash. Put the hammer down as appropriate, that's a solid 5 to 10 seconds more time to get to the Longsword.
